• Day 1-2: Reykjavik, Iceland

  Fly from selected UK airport for your 7-night cruise onboard Celebrity Silhouette. Reykjavik — the world's most northern capital — is Iceland's cultural hub. Sundahöfn is a modern harbour just minutes from the city centre that welcomes large ships from around the world, while smaller ships dock in the Old Harbour at the heart of town. Famous for its vibrant nightlife and vast array of cafes, bars and restaurants this diverse setting also boasts natural beauty in the unspoilt countryside. Away from the bustling centre, discover a small piece of paradise at the Nauthólsvík geothermal beach. Golden sand meets a fusion of cold sea and hot geothermal water, which produces warmer temperatures perfect for swimming. Visit in winter and catch a glimpse of the Aurora Borealis - The Northern Lights.

• Day 4: Seydisfjordur, Iceland

  The Port of Seydisfjordur is the gateway to one of Iceland's most remote and hard-to-reach coastal towns. Nestled between the towering Mount Strandartindur and Mount Bjolfur in the Eastfjords of Iceland, the town has a small population of only 700 residents. Clusters of beautifully-preserved wooden structures line Fjardara River making this picturesque location a hidden gem among Iceland's unique ports of call. The sounds of more than 25 waterfalls provide the background to this peaceful landscape, which has a varied climate, thriving arts scene and multitude of opportunities for adventurous outdoor pursuits. Learn about the rich local history at the Technical Museum of East Iceland, sample freshly-caught seafood in the riverside restaurants or follow the scenic nature walks along the fjord.

• Day 5: Akureyri, Iceland

  Just a stone's throw from the Arctic Circle, Akureyri boasts some of the best summer weather in Iceland. This diverse town in north-east Iceland sits at the foot of snow-topped mountains soaring 1,500ft and is the second largest urban area in the country. This resort flourishes in the warmer months with its picturesque parkland and Botanical Garden presenting beautiful plant life. Winter brings vibrant festivals and some of Iceland's most popular ski destinations making it an ideal year-round port of call. Stroll through 'Arts Alley' in the centre of town for a taste of the local culture or join a whale-watching tour and admire the rare humpback and sei whales.

• Day 6: Isafjordur, Iceland

  Isafjordur is the largest town in the Westfjords peninsula with a natural harbour dating back more than 250 years. Accommodating large cruise ships in its two quay port, cruise passengers can enjoy varied experiences and picturesque views when disembarking. Between five quaint villages, the town sits on a narrow sandspit in one of Iceland's deepest fjords. Now one of the country's main fishing and trading centres, it's home to a great range of cosy cafes and bakeries as well as family-run restaurants serving fresh, locally-caught seafood. Wander from the cruise port and discover history and culture at Maritime Museum, or sail across to Vigur — 'The Paradise Island' which is home to thousands of bird species including puffins and Arctic terns.

  Today your cruise comes to an end. Transfer to the airport and board your return flight home to the UK.
