Cruise Itinerary

• Day 1: UK > Bridgetown, Barbados

  Fly from selected UK airport to Bridgetown, Barbados and embark on your 7-night cruise on board Seabourn Ovation

• Day 3: Carambola Beach, Saint Kitts and Nevis

  Home to St Kitts & Nevis’ most luxurious beach clubs and restaurants; Carambola Beach boasts a classic arc of sugary sand overlooking South Friar's Bay and is the perfect spot for ultimate relaxation. When you're here it's mostly all about clinking cocktails with friends, resting on a sun lounger, and hitting the waves to enjoy a plethora of water sports. Alternatively, pay a visit to the UNESCO-listed Brimstone Hill Fortress or explore the island on the St Kitts Scenic Railway; originally built to transport sugar cane. Wander around the captivating symphony of orchids, water-lily ponds, and bamboo groves at Botanical Gardens of Nevis or head for some peace and quiet with your partner down to the nearly-deserted Lovers Beach.

• Day 4: Point-a-Pitre, Guadeloupe

  Pointe-A-Pitre is a city on the island of Grande-Terre in Guadeloupe. Place de la Victoire is brimming with cafes and colonial homes and is the perfect spot for exploration. Delve into the Caribbean's slave trade at Memorial ACTe or head to the shores of Plage de la Datcha to swim, sunbathe, and check out the local eateries. Discover the life of the island's famous poet and Nobel Laureate at Musée Saint-John Perse and the yellow and white Cathédrale de St Pierre et St Paul is the ideal photo opportunity. Shop for handmade goods, local produce, and souvenirs at Spice Market and Market Darse. Visit nearby Le Grosier; the gateway to over 60 species of tropical fish at Aquarium de la Guadeloupe and the ruins of Fort Fleur d'Epé.

• Day 5: Trois Ilets, Martinique

  Trois-Îlets lies on the Le Marin peninsular arrondissement; just across the Bay of Fort-de-France from Martinique's capital. The area is most famous as being home to the stately La Pagerie colonial plantation - the birthplace and childhood home of Josephine Beauharnais who became Napoleon Bonaparte's second wife - now a museum about the French colonial slave period. Visit the nearby La Savane des Esclaves museum and garden with its thatched dwellings, artefacts, and plantings which also references this era. Travel to Fort-de-France to discover its rich colonial past including the ornate Schoelcher Library. Venture to the former capital St Pierre - which is a latter-day Pompeii after it was enveloped in ash and lava from an eruption from Mt Pelée in 1902. Head to Balata with its elegant cathedral and verdant botanical gardens filled with tropical flowers, butterflies, and hummingbirds.

• Day 6: Roseau, Dominica

  The capital of Dominica, Roseau, is a small and compact urban settlement off the coast of the Caribbean Sea. Head to the historical French Quarter where the streets are lined with graceful wooden buildings housing vibrant bars, restaurants, and shops. View the Cathedral of Our Lady of Fair Haven of Roseau, one of the most beautiful structures in Dominica, and shop for souvenirs at the Old Market. Escape to the tranquil Dominica Botanic Gardens or step back in time at Dominica Museum. Venture further afield to the Morne Trois Pitons National Park to see Bolling Lake, Victoria Waterfall, Trafalgar Falls, Middleham Falls, Emerald Pool, Titou Gorge, and the Valley of Desolation.

• Day 7: Rodney Bay, Saint Lucia

  Discover the charming Rodney Bay located in the Gros Islet quarter on the Caribbean island of St Lucia. Pigeon Island National Park sits at the tip of the island; here discover nature trails, idyllic beaches, and crumbling ruins. With a pretty backdrop of rainforest-covered mountains; spend time relaxing on Reduit Beach or swimming and snorkelling in the turquoise waters. Take a catamaran cruise along St Lucia's western coast when the sun sets to admire stunning settings. Feast on the tempting flavours of Creole cuisine at the many inviting restaurants along the yacht-filled marina. Join the 'Jump Up' Caribbean street festivities every Friday; listen to music and tuck into fried snacks.

• Day 8: Bridgetown, Barbados > UK

  It’s time to say goodbye to your crew and start the journey home.
