• Day 1: UK - Singapore (Embarkation Day)

  Fly from your UK airport to Singapore and embark onboard Oceania Regatta for your 31 night cruise

• Day 2: Malacca, Malaysia

  Malacca City is located in South West Malaysia and is a UNESCO world heritage site known for its charm and rich trading history. This tranquil city is best explored on foot and Jonker Street in Chinatown is where you'll come across the vibrant night market complete with a wide selection of stalls and a buzzing street party atmosphere. One of Malacca's most defining structures is the Christ Church with its iconic red bricks and the huge white cross. Pay a visit to the remains of the 15th-century A'Famosa Fort and explore the 17th-century Chinese Cheng Hoon Teng temple and the 18th-century Kampung Kling Mosque. Drop by the Malacca Butterfly and Reptile Sanctuary or take a trip to the uniquely popular Orangutan House museum to browse the local artwork.

• Day 3: Kuala Lumpur (Port Klang), Malaysia

  The largest port in Malaysia, Port Klang serves the country’s capital, Kuala Lumpur. Malaysia has both a large Muslim and Buddhist population; and a visit to the FGS Dong Zen Monastery provides a tranquil look into a Buddhist monk's life. Head to Bagan Hailam, where restaurants line the roads and are built on stilts over water. Here, taste the fresh seafood which the area is famous for. If you visit in early May, you may catch sight of the Chitra Pournami Hindu Festival which celebrates the Chitragupta, a Hindu deity. If you're looking for a glimpse of local life; take a ferry over to the mangrove-covered island of Pulau Ketam, otherwise known as Crab Island. This island has an entire village built on stilts and a visit will reward you with awe-inspiring sights.

• Day 4: Penang, Malaysia

  Penang is located alongside the Strait of Malacca on the north-western coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Comprising two parts - Penang Island with its capital George Town and Seberang Perai on the Malay Peninsula. Ride a trishaw around the bustling streets and discover authentic local cuisine at the China House shophouses in Road Town. Travel on the cable car up Penang Hill or climb the 500 steps to Waterfall Hilltop Temple for stunning views. Explore the tropical oasis of herbs and spices at the Tropical Spice Garden or admire the winged beauties at the Butterfly Farm. While away a few hours at Batu Ferringhi beach or enjoy outdoor activities at ESCAPE theme park. Say a prayer at the Street of Harmony or gaze in awe at Wat Chayamangkalaram - Asia's largest reclining Buddha.

• Day 5: Langkawi, Malaysia

  Langkawi is an archipelago of 104 islands in the Andaman Sea, just 30km off the north-western shore of Malaysia. Ride the SkyCab to the summit of Mount Mat Cincang before taking the mountain walk to the SkyBridge for awesome views. Pay a visit to the Telaga Tujuh Waterfalls and the Beach of Black Sand. Take a boat trip to Tasik Dayang Bunting Lake and the Gua Cerita and Gua Langsir caves. Go snorkelling amongst colourful fish and coral at Pulau Payar Marine Park; enjoy a mangrove tour at Kilim Geopark; or encounter 5000 marine species at Underwater World Langkawi.

• Day 6-7: Phuket, Thailand

  The ship drops anchor today on the island of Phuket. Be sure to head to the picturesque Patong Beach along the western coast — perhaps the most popular attraction. Take a short drive and see the famous Simon Cabaret show with its full ladyboy cast. For gorgeous scenic views over the island visit the Big Buddha statue or watch the sunset from Promthep Cape. Take a trip through the historical Old Phuket Town with its various cafes, restaurants, museums, shrines and temples. A visit to 19th-century Wat Chalong Temple is a truly magical experience.

• Day 10: Hambantota, Sri Lanka

  The main town of the Hambantota District; Hambantota is set in the Southern Province of Sri Lanka. As a result of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami it is in the middle of undergoing a number of major development projects, including a new sea port and international airport. Enjoy a day out walking around Mirijjawila Botanical Garden with its exotic flora or spot leopards and birds, and admire the Sithulpawwa monastery at Yala National Park. Bundala National Park is great for bird-watching and Kumana National Park offers the opportunities of safari rides and camping. Bathe in the seven hot water tanks of Mahapelessa Hot Springs to completely unwind and visit the archaeological site and Buddhist monastery Ramba Viharaya.

• Day 11: Colombo, Sri Lanka

  Once seen as the gateway to Sri Lanka, Colombo, with its growing diversity and stunning beaches, is now a popular tourist destination. Take a train ride along the coast to Mount Lavinia, then spend the afternoon relaxing on a stunning golden beach. Or explore the Talangama Wetland, a haven for nature lovers. Enjoy lush scenery and watch a cricket match at the beautiful seafront park of Galle Face Green, then enjoy a stylish afternoon tea at the historic Galle Face Hotel, after admiring the exquisite hand carved doors at its entrance.

  The petite capital of the Maldives is a densely populated area with a notable skyline. The distinct character of the city is narrated by the narrow streets, colourful houses and strong communal vibe. See the Friday Mosque or visit the Republic Square to gain insight into the local culture and heritage. Sultan Park and National Museum is home to royal photographs and artefacts, while the Male Market is a bustling area for goods and souvenirs. Visit the small artificial beach on the east coast and relax under the scorching sun, or take a whale submarine trip to catch a glimpse of these beautiful creatures.

  Mahé enchants with its lush mountains, turquoise waters, and vibrant island culture. Relax on powdery beaches like Beau Vallon, explore tropical trails in Morne Seychellois National Park, and discover colorful markets in Victoria. From serene coves to exotic wildlife, this island is a paradise for nature and relaxation.

• Day 20: Port Louis, Mauritius

  Taste a true slice of Mauritian life when you step ashore at the island's capital, Port Louis. This vibrant metropolis is the perfect spot to go shopping at the lively Central Market or to sample local delicacies and the island's 58 varieties of tea by Le Caudan Waterfront. Trace Mauritian history at Blue Penny Museum and view the photographic exhibits at Musee de la Photographie. Admire the gorgeous giant Victoria Water Lilies at the famous Pamplemousses Botanical Gardens or walk under the shade of the banyan trees at Jardins de la Compagnie on La Chausee Street. Travel inland to take a horse-drawn carriage, Land Rover, or train ride through the 3,000-acre Domaine les Pailles Nature Park.

• Day 21: Pointe Des Galets, Reunion Island

  Pointe des Galets is a cape in the north west of Reunion Island and is now entirely occupied by the town centre of Le Port. This impressive place is a favourite with lovers of history, progress, and industry; check out the hiking trails of the live volcano Piton de la Fournaise, Mafate, and the majestic views from Maido. Reunion National Park is a great way to experience nature at its finest or perhaps swim, snorkel, and relax on the powder-white shores of Plage de l'Hermitage. Spot sea turtles and tortoise at Kelonia, take pictures next to the flowing waters of Grand Galet Falls, and Tabit Pass is another way enthusiastic climbers can appreciate panoramic vistas.

• Day 25: Maputo, Mozambique

  Maputo is the capital of East Africa's Mozambique. This Indian Ocean port city is awash with Portuguese colonial and turn-of-the-century buildings. Pay a visit to the amazing displays at the Natural History Museum or witness the beautiful Fort of Nossa Senhora da Conceicao. Stroll around the downtown Baixa district and visit the bronze-domed CFM Railway Station, the Municipal Market, and Praca da Independencia plaza. Journey to the Maputo Elephant Reserve to view the populations of elephants, hippos, deer, and zebras. Hop on a ferry boat at the harbour to the marine nature reserve at Inhaca Island; where you can encounter abundant birds, a lighthouse, and also underwater delights on a snorkelling or scuba diving trip.

• Day 26: Richards Bay, South Africa

  Richards Bay is located in the KwaZulu-Natal area of South Africa. This port town sits on a 30 square kilometre lagoon on the Mhlathuze River and boasts one of the country's largest harbours and amazing wetland scenery. Spend a few hours soaking up the sun on the blue-flag Alkantstrand beach or visit the indigenous hippos and crocodiles at Richards Bay Game Reserve. Indulge in retail therapy at the Boardwalk Shopping Centre, or tuck into a platter of fresh fish and seafood on the Tuzi Gazi Waterfront.

• Day 27: Durban, South Africa

  Durban sits on South Africa's KwaZulu-Natal coastline. This vibrant city boasts a long Golden Mile seafront promenade that runs from uShaka Marine World theme park and aquarium through to the Moses Mabhida Stadium. Escape to the tranquil surroundings of Durban Botanical Park to view the nearly-extinct living fossil plants or encounter 200+ bird species at Umgeni River Bird Park. Explore the Indian Quarter; home to Victoria Street Market and Juma Masjid Mosque. Enjoy family times at Mitchell Park and Jameson Park, Addington Beach, and Durban Ice Arena. Witness township life at Kwamuhle Museum and uncover Florida Road's eclectic mix of cafes, boutiques, galleries, and eateries. Savour a unique dining experience surrounded by sharks in The Cargo Hold at uShaka Marine World. Head inland to experience the Valley of 1000 Hills and PheZulu Safari Park.

• Day 28: East London, South Africa

  The South African city of East London sits on the estuary of the Buffalo River on the Eastern Cape's Indian Ocean coastline. Meander through the city centre and enjoy the colonial-style City Hall and the South African works of art at Ann Bryant Gallery. Head to the Hemingways Mall where you'll find over 200 shops, six cinemas, a bowling alley, and go-kart track. Bask on the golden sands of Orient Beach, Nahoon Beach, and Cove Rock. Discover fossilised human and animal footprints on display at East London Museum or step back in time at the museum at Gately House. View the indigenous African snakes at Apex Predator Park or get up close to the Big Five animals on a safari through the Inkwenkwezi and Mpongo Private Game Reserves.

  The bustling South African city of Cape Town is a mixture of cultures, cuisines, and landscapes. Ride the cable car to the top of iconic Table Mountain; the country’s most-photographed attraction and one of the new 'Seven Wonders of Nature'. Take a boat trip to visit the infamous Robben Island; where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned and has now been transformed into a living museum. Explore the candy-coloured houses and Cape Malay spice shops that line the streets in Bo-Kaap. Come face-to-face with a great white shark on a cage dive. Head to the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens and get lost in the flora and fauna. Experience Victoria and Alfred Waterfront's Watershed Market, Two Oceans Aquarium, and Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa; dine on a delicious platter of fresh seafood with a waterside view, or sample street food and craft beer at V&A Food Market.
