• Day 1: Fly from the UK to Vancouver, Canada

  Transfer from the Airport to Vancouver to begin your 3-night hotel stay.

• Day 2-3: Vancouver, Canada

  Vancouver unites a vibrant cosmopolitan city with a backdrop of wilderness adventure. This Canadian city is home to an eclectic selection of neighbourhoods such as Chinatown, Punjabi Market, Gastown, and Yaletown. Walk to Stanley Park for Canada’s largest aquarium and the scenic seawall leading to English Bay Beach. Experience some culture at the Museum of Anthropology, Vancouver Art Gallery, and Orpheum Theatre. Make sure you visit iconic Canada Place — where you can ride the FlyOver Canada simulator and see the country from coast to coast! You can take a thrilling walk across Capilano Suspension Bridge - which hovers 230 feet above Capilano River — and hop on a ferry to Granville Island to find craft shops, a public market, and Canada's first microbrewery.

• Day 4: Vancouver, Canada - Transit the Seymour Narrows

  (Embarkation Day) After check out at your hotel be transferred to the cruise port to board Seabourn Encore for your 14-night cruise.

• Day 6: Ketchikan, Alaska - Transit Snow Pass - Transit Decision Passage

  Ketchikan can be described as the first city of Alaska. Situated at the southernmost entrance to Alaska's iconic Inside Passage and surrounded by deep fjords and lush forests; this small fishing town is a popular stop with cruise lines. Take a walk down the waterfront and admire the awe-inspiring views. Enjoy a tour to the 40-acre Alaska Rainforest Sanctuary to view bald eagles, wolves, and black bears. Visit the totem poles at Totem Bight State Historical Park and Potlatch Totem Park or journey to the glacier-carved wilderness at the Misty Fiords National Monument. You can also ride an off-road vehicle and try zip lining, kayaking, and hiking.

• Day 7: Sitka, Alaska, USA

  Sitka is an Alaskan city and borough close to the state capital of Juneau; it's located on Baranof Island and was once the capital of Russian America. The main attraction here is Sitka National Historical Park which was established in 1804 and, since then, has preserved the culture of the local Tlingit people and Russian and American settlers. The park houses a collection of rare artefacts including the preserved remains of the Tlingit fort and a Russian house. A visit to the Sitka Cultural Centre will allow insight into the region’s history and a vast display of film presentations, walking trails lined with totem poles, and artwork enhance this experience. If you're a thrill seeker; perhaps explore the pristine bays by kayak or hike through one of the many forest trails.

• Day 8: Cruising Yakutat Bay - Hubbard Glacier, Alaska, United States

  Hubbard Glacier is located in eastern Alaska's Wrangell-St Elias National Park and Preserve and Canada's Kluane National Park and Reserve in Yukon and is the largest and most active tidewater glacier in North America. Named after Gardiner Hubbard - the first president of the National Geographic Society - Hubbard Glacier spans 76 miles and 1,200 feet in depth in pristine Disenchantment Bay. The glacier dwarfs the cruise ships that pass it and regularly calves mini glaciers the size of ten-storey buildings! The surrounding area is a haven for wildlife — from whales, otters, and harbour seals in the water to moose, brown bears, and black-tailed deer on the shoreline.

• Day 9: Inian Islands, Alaska - Icy Strait Point, Alaska, United States

  Icy Strait Point is located on Alaska's Chichagof Island just outside the small village of Hoonah. This privately-owned resort is named after the nearby Icy Strait. Step ashore to experience authentic regional culture, incredible natural beauty and indigenous wildlife, Tlingit art and dancing, and to taste fresh Dungeness crab. Take a cruise from Icy Strait Point to get an up-close view of the dramatic scenery, humpback whales, and brown bears. Ride the bus to the top of Hoonah Mountain for far-reaching vistas, before descending on the world's largest ZipRider which soars 300 feet above the rainforest below.

• Day 10: Haines (Skagway), Alaska, United States - Cruising Lynn Canal

  The port of Haines in Alaska offers a wealth of history, culture, breathtaking scenery, and activities. Discover the area's fascinating heritage as you browse the exhibits at Haines Sheldon Museum & Cultural Center and Hammer Museum. Experience the thrill of kayaking on the Chilkoot Lake or try rafting on the Chilkat River. In the winter months, keep your eyes peeled for the 3,500 Bald Eagles that migrate to the area and learn more about these endangered birds of prey at the American Bald Eagle Foundation. Discover the culture, tradition, and dance of the Chilkat Tlingit people on a tour of Klukwan village. • Day 11: Juneau, Alaska

  Juneau is the state capital of Alaska, and it's not hard see why people would want to settle here. Juneau is one of the natural beauty hotspots of the world; take a trip to the 220-feet deep Mendenhall Glacier, one of the most awe-inspiring in the area. With its wild bear viewing areas, The Tongass National Park is also a great spot for camping, fishing, and hiking amongst lush green surroundings. Marvel at water views from Mount Roberts Tramway and treat yourself to unique souvenirs from the gift shop. Nugget Falls is a spectacular waterfall downstream of the Nugget Glacier; capture unforgettable photos here with loved ones. Take a tour of Juneau Icefield with over 40 huge glaciers to admire or kayak over the icy waters of Medenhall Lake.

• Day 13: Transit Decision Passage - Wrangell, Alaska - Cruising Stikine Strait

  Surrounded by mountains, islands, and rainforests; the Alaskan city and borough of Wrangell is a naturally beautiful place just waiting to be explored. See bears in their natural habitat at Anan Creek Bear Observatory or at the Anan Wildlife Observatory. Get a historical overview of Wrangell at the Wrangell Museum. Admire the majestic glaciers with a LeConte Glacier Tour or go on a guided fishing trip. Cruise the 60-mile-long pristine Stikine River extending from British Columbia to Wrangell. Finish your visit by taking a hike and surrounding yourself with beautiful scenery and nature at Mount Dewey Trail.

• Day 14: Cruising Behm Canal - Rudyerd Bay (Misty Fjords), Alaska - Scenic cruising Misty Fjords

  Uncover the sheer beauty of the Misty Fjords National Monument in the middle of the Tongass National Forest in Southeast Alaska. Filled with beautiful granite cliffs and misty clouds covering the lush rain forest; this spectacular mosaic of sea cliffs, steep fjords, and rock walls will take your breath away. Dramatic waterfalls plunge into the salt water here and the homes of mountain goats, brown bears, black bears, moose, marten, wolves, and sea lions can be found. Kayak the protected coves to truly experience the fjords or see the area with a sightseeing flight or day-long boat cruise. Its major waterway is Behm Canal, which separates Revillagigedo Island from the mainland and provides a lead to Walker Cove, Rudyerd Bay, and Punchbowl Cove; considered to be some of the most sensational areas.

  The Canadian city of Prince Rupert sits on the edge of the wilderness at the mouth of the Skeena River on British Columbia's northwest coast. Venture ashore and take part in outdoor pursuits such as sport fishing or a walking tour of the bonsai-like forest at Oliver Lake. Visit the picturesque Cow Bay waterfront and sip a coffee in a cafe by the water's edge. Get up close to the local wildlife at the Khutzeymateen Grizzly Sanctuary or keep your eyes peeled for humpback whales in the fish-filled offshore waters. Explore the area's natural and cultural heritage at Na Xbiisa Lagigyet - Museum of Northern British Columbia and learn about the city's salmon-canning heritage at North Pacific Cannery.

• Day 17: Alert Bay, British Columbia - Scenic cruising Johnstone Strait - Transit the Seymour Narrows

  Enjoy time in Alert Bay, a village on Cormorant Island in the regional district of Mount Waddington. Cruise along the pristine waterways of Queen Charlotte Strait, Johnstone Strait, and Blackfish Sound as you try and spot resident orcas and humpback whales whilst Seasmoke Whale Watching. Take a short stroll from the port and admire the Totem poles at Namgis Original Burial Grounds or go hiking and bird watching at the Alert Bay Ecological Park. • Day 18: Vancouver, British Columbia to UK

  (Disembarkation Day) Today your cruise comes to an end and you will be transferred from the port to the Airport for your return flight to the UK.
