Joining the Hays Travel Independence Group was a “no-brainer” for Emma Conway.
She has enjoyed huge success since setting up Pretty Little Holidays in South Wales in April 2024.
And last year, Emma experienced “the best day of her life” when she scooped the ‘One to Watch’ accolade at Travel Weekly’s Agent Achievement Awards.
Now, in her quest to take the step to the next level, she has joined the Hays Travel Independence Group – a consortium which has been committed to helping businesses grow for more than 30 years.
Emma, who has worked in the travel industry for the past decade, said: “I am really excited to have joined the Hays Travel Independence Group. It is an ambitious brand with a recognised name, so it was a no-brainer for me to build that serious reputation.
“The growth I have had, particularly between April and July last year, has been unbelievable. I just couldn’t manage by myself. If I could have cloned myself, I would have! It has all seemed to happen overnight.”
It was back in July when Pretty Little Holidays was named the ‘One to Watch’ at the coveted Travel Weekly Agent Achievement Awards in London.
Emma added: “To be recognised with that award was beyond my wildest dreams. It really was the best day of my life.
“I am not sure how I have done it, but I really want to ride the crest of this wave and continue to build on that success.”

Pretty Little Holidays now has two branches in South Wales – Caerphilly and Ystrad Mynach – and Emma proudly leads the team of four.
She added: “I think we have achieved success so far because we are relatable and honest with our clients.
“We have a small premises on the corner of the high street in Caerphilly, so the next step for me is move into the middle of the street and really get our names out there.”
Harriet Thompson, Head of the Hays Travel Independence Group, said: “The Hays Travel Independence Group has been supporting ambitious entrepreneurs for more than 30 years, so we are delighted that Emma and her team has joined us.
“Pretty Little Holidays continues to go from strength to strength, and receiving the ‘One to Watch’ award last summer demonstrates just how much potential this business has to grow even further.”
