TURNING THE SPOTLIGHT ON MONTEREY AND SLO CAL

Part of Highway 1 from SLO CAL through Big Sur to Monterey closed in 2023 following significant landslide damage but re-opened in mid-January 2026 after repairs. To celebrate the full re-opening of this section and the restoration of uninterrupted travel along the entire route of Highway 1 - we’d like to turn the spotlight on what Monterey and SLO CAL have to offer visitors!
