Q1: Have you been on a tour before? If so, which one?
Yes, I recently went on my first ever touring holiday with Newmarket Holidays to India! I know, not the first destination people think of for a first-time tourer. But it was completely unforgettable. From rickshaw rides through Old Delhi’s bustling markets to the thrill of spotting a tiger in the wild, it was magic. Q2: How would you describe the tour in one word?
Jampacked... but in the best way. This 11-day adventure through India’s Golden Triangle was a rich and immersive cultural experience. We explored the vibrant contrasts of Delhi, the Taj Mahal's romantic beauty, Jaipur's royal heritage, and the wild heart of Ranthambhore National Park. Every day brought something new. The itinerary was thoughtfully curated to balance iconic landmarks with authentic local experiences.
Q3: What touring destination would you recommend and why?
Honestly, India! I would highly recommend this tour for anyone seeking a deep cultural experience. No day is the same—from ancient forts and palaces to vibrant street life and peaceful wildlife encounters. The tour was well-organised, the guides were incredibly knowledgeable, and the accommodations were comfortable throughout. Seeing the Taj Mahal in person was breathtaking, but what truly made the trip special was the variety of experiences packed into each day. Whether you're a history lover, a foodie, or a wildlife enthusiast, this tour has something for everyone.
Q4: What’s your dream tour and why?
I don’t think anything compares to the thrill of seeing lions, elephants, rhinos, and leopards roaming freely in their natural habitat. A safari isn’t just a trip—it’s a soul-stirring journey into the heart of the wild, where you’re not just observing nature, you’re surrounded by it. A mix of adventure, serenity, culture, and awe, where every moment feels like a scene from a documentary. That’s my idea of a dream tour.

Q5: What’s your top tip for someone going on a touring holiday?
When you're on a touring holiday, a good quality camera helps you preserve those once-in-a-lifetime moments in stunning detail. Pair it with a reliable power bank to keep your phone and devices charged throughout long days of exploring. And don’t underestimate the value of a comfortable pair of walking shoes — your feet will thank you after a day of sightseeing, wandering markets, or climbing scenic viewpoints.
