Our Objectives

Developing young people's talent is at the heart of Hays Travel. We understand that many young people today, for one reason or another, lack access to what they need to achieve their full potential.

Thus we have made it part of our mission to provide financial support to gifted and talented youngsters from social and economic disadvantaged circumstances so that they may pursue their educational goals.

We are proud to have succeeded in this via the Hays Travel Foundation and the partnerships our branches have built within their local communities.

We believe it is vital that our children are provided with enough opportunities to enable them to succeed and develop their potential.

Unfortunately, due to factors such as social and economic disadvantage, some young people in today's society suffer from lack of equality.

Throughout the years, prevention of poverty has become part of our mission.

Through the local community partnerships of our branches and the Hays Travel Foundation we offer financial support to empower those in, or at risk of, poverty, in order to create a brighter tomorrow for the next generation.

There are times when one’s wellbeing can be affected by life-limiting physical or mental conditions. Those suffering from such conditions are often the youngest in our society.

In one way or another, it can stop them from participating in the everyday activities that their peers take part in.

And while eliminating the cause for this is out of our control, providing financial support to ameliorate the wellbeing and life chances of those with mental or physical conditions, we can do!

Whether this be through providing equipment, the opportunity to take part in activities they wouldn't normally be able to, or the chance to experience the joys of travel, it is our objective to help where possible.

We strongly believe that access to, and involvement with, the arts and culture is important to self-expression and creativity in young people.

Financial ability should not stand in the way of real talent. In the years ahead, we aim to continue to help create opportunities for the next generation to be able to enjoy, engage and participate in the arts and culture regardless of their economic background.

We are proud to be able to provide financial aid to organisations promoting amateur sport.

We believe it is important to support the involvement of young people with sport, not just for the high-achievers, but as a way of enhancing the wellbeing of all, through participation and progression at all levels.

With this said we do our best to encourage young people to develop or excel at any sport, whether it be as individuals, teams, groups or clubs.
