Whitley Bay Local Community Partnership

Hays Travel Whitley Bay arranged a charity coach trip to Scarborough in aid of Heart NE. Heart NE provides a service to vulnerable and homeless people through outreach and support. The organisation also offers family support to those suffering from poverty through food parcels, and general wellbeing support.

On the day, the branch took their customers to Scarborough for a sunny day out where they were able to enjoy the beach as well as the Sea Life centre. On the coach, the branch held a game of bingo as well as a raffle with some fantastic prizes to generate more funding for the charity, and to also entertain customers on the journey.

In total, the branch managed to raise over £680 for Heart NE which will go towards their services for vulnerable people in the local area.
