Warrington Youth Zone

Warrington Youth Zone is a charity with a rich history of delivering projects for young people since the 1930s, and it is the only youth organisation open in Warrington 365 days a year. The organisation aims to see improvements in confidence, social skills, emotional skills, as well as health and wellbeing.

Warrington Youth Zone received a grant from the Hays Travel Foundation to fund the Climb for Success project which incorporates professional climbing instruction and personal development work. In addition to building physical fitness and personal development, participants are also able to gain a Level 2 National Indoor Climbing Award, which is a recognised award for climbers.

The project has been successful so far for participants, as it has allowed them to learn new skills in a safe environment, and has drawn many participants into climbing, and away from anti-social behaviours.
