Torquay Local Community Partnership

Hays Travel Torquay arranged a charity cycle event in aid of RNLI. RNLI aims to save lives, promote safety, and provide relief from disaster at sea. The organisation has crews that protect hundreds of communities around the UK and Ireland through the 24-hour search and rescue service. 

For the event, the branch decided to cycle 1000 miles from Torquay to Milan, all on a static bike which was kindly donated by Venture Fitness Gyms. The event spanned over 6 days with each colleague in the branch contributing to the target of 1000 miles.

The branch raised money through sponsorship and in total, the branch raised over £182 which will go towards helping the RNLI’s services.
