Tiverton Local Community Partnership

Hays Travel Tiverton took part in an inflatable 5K course in aid of Hospiscare. Hospiscare is an organisation that supports people aged 18 or above across the heart of Devon who are living with life-limiting conditions. The Hospice offers a range of services such as a specialist ward, support at home, as well as a support helpline for those in need.

On the day, the branch went to Westpoint Arena in Exeter, and ran the 5K course and had to tackle the obstacles along the way. The branch had a great time taking part in the course, and despite feeling sore the next day, they claimed it was worth it as it was all for a good cause.

In addition to the obstacle course, the branch also held a holiday hamper raffle to help raise funds in addition to the sponsorship donations, and managed to raise over £450 for the charity.
