Swanage Local Community Partnership

Hays Travel Swanage arranged a charity quiz night in aid of WillDoes at their local pub, The Globe Inn. WillDoes is a charity that was set up in memory of William Paddy, a sporty and charismatic individual who grew up near Swanage, and had a love of horse riding, snowboarding, rugby and tennis. The organisation helps young people who may be finding life tough, and struggling with daily life.

On the night, the branch ran the quiz in teams of four where the branch quizzed their customers on areas such as travel geography and general knowledge. In addition to the quiz, the branch also ran a raffle on the night to raise funds for the charity and managed to raise over £200 for WillDoes.

Lesley Paddy, William’s mum and charity trustee said, “I’m always genuinely touched by the continued kindness and generosity of those who support a charity that means so much to me.”
