Sherborne Local Community Partnership

Hays Travel Sherborne completed a charity ‘Quingo’ night in aid of The Rendezvous. The Rendezvous is an organisation that aims to improve the mental health and wellbeing of young people facing disadvantage in North Dorset and South Somerset. The organisation offers support centred around emotional wellbeing as well as learning and future work.

Hays Travel Sherborne decided to do a ‘Quingo’ event which is a mix of quiz rounds as well as games of bingo. Over 50 guests showed up to the fundraiser which was hosted at the Westend Community Hall, and the team from the branch all took it in turns to present through the night to help keep all participants engaged. 

The branch had a great time fundraising for The Rendezvous, which is an organisation close to the heart of Shannon, branch manager at Sherborne as they helped her to achieve her maths qualification. In total, the branch raised over £500 for The Rendezvous which will support young people in need.
