Rhyl Local Community Partnership

Hays Travel Rhyl arranged a charity walk up Snowdon in aid of Tŷ Gobaith. Tŷ Gobaith is a hospice based in North Wales that cares for babies, children and young people who have life-threatening conditions. The organisation offers peace and tranquillity to children and families who need it the most through facilities such as a therapy room, playground and a playroom. 

The branch chose to climb Snowdon due to how challenging it would be, and they knew that it would all be for a good cause. The team gathered for the walk and despite the torrential weather conditions, they persevered, and still managed to get half way to the top despite the conditions being the worst they all had ever experienced. 

In total, the branch raised £929 for Tŷ Gobaith, and the branch claimed that this amount will really benefit the organisation and allow them to continue to provide care for babies, children and young people in North Wales.
