Newton Abbot Local Community Partnership

Hays Travel Newton Abbot arranged a collection and raffle for HITS Foodbank, as well as a collection for the local dog rehoming shelter. HITS Foodbank provides support for people in crisis throughout the Teignbridge district and offers food packs and toiletry packs to suit their needs. 

To support the foodbank, the branch had a shopping trolly in branch where customers could donate items, which were donated to the foodbank. Also, to raise funds for the foodbank, the branch held a raffle where customers could be in for the chance to win a meat hamper, kindly donated by the local butchers. 

In addition to supporting the foodbank, the branch also decided to collect for the local dog rehoming shelter where customers could drop off items such as food and blankets for dogs in need.

In total, the branch raised £219 which will go towards helping those in the local community who need it the most.
