Middlesbrough Hill Street Local Community Partnership

Hays Travel Middlesbrough Hill Street arranged a charity quiz night in aid of Andy’s Man Club. Andy’s Man Club is a men’s suicide prevention charity, that offers free to attend peer-to-peer support groups across the UK. Andy’s Man Club aims to end the stigma surrounding men’s mental health and help men through the power of conversation, and reminds them that it is ok to talk. 

For the quiz night, the branch booked out a local pub where they invited their customers along to participate in the quiz for the charity. In addition to the quiz, the branch also offered refreshments, as well as a DJ and karaoke for everyone to enjoy. 

Customers claimed that they all had a great night, whilst raising money for an organisation that focuses a lot of their work on the local area, making a real difference to those suffering with poor mental health. In total, the branch raised over £580 which will go towards the services that Andy’s Man Club offers across the local area and the rest of the UK.
