Lytham Local Community Partnership

Hays Travel Lytham arranged a charity walk in aid of The Coastal Collective. The Coastal Collective is an organisation that provides specialist support, and promotes health and wellbeing to develop a healthier and safer community. The organisation offers services such as the Family HUB, behavioural teams as well as family link support workers.

Hays Travel Lytham decided to walk from their branch in Lytham, to their colleagues’ branch in Cleveleys for the charity which equated to 14 miles. The walk took place off the back of a storm, and the conditions were far from ideal walking down the Blackpool Promenade due to the strong winds and sand being blown everywhere. Despite the conditions, the branch powered through, and successfully made it to Hays Travel Cleveleys to mark the end of the challenge.

In total, the branch raised £506 for The Coastal Collective which will allow the organisation to expand to offer more services which will help children and families in the local area.
