Denton Local Community Partnership

Hays Travel Denton arranged a ‘Through the Decades’ charity night in aid of Willow Wood Hospice. Willow Wood Hospice is an adult hospice based in Ashton under Lyne that provides specialist palliative care, end of life and free supportive care. In addition to caring for patients, Willow Wood Hospice also provides family and community support, which includes wellbeing services, counselling and therapies.

For the event, Hays Travel Denton chose to organise a lively party night called ‘Through the Decades’ which celebrated music from the 1960s up to present day. On the night, there was live music from local singer Colin, as well as a raffle which raised further funds for the charity.

The branch raised £1,645 for Willow Wood Hospice from the event, which will have a great impact on the day to day services of the hospice.
