Cleveland Retail Park Local Community Partnership

Hays Travel Cleveland Retail Park arranged a charity walk in aid of My Sister’s Place. My Sister’s Place is a charity that works in addressing the impact of domestic abuse in families and communities. The organisation provides holistic, therapeutic and practical support through a range of specialist teams, offering vital support to adults and children affected by domestic abuse.

For the walk, Hays Travel Cleveland Retail Park walked from the Transporter Bridge in Middlesbrough to the Infinity Bridge in Stockton, then back which equated to 10 miles. Despite the walk being very tiring for the branch, they all persevered and completed the walk all in aid of the charity. 

Lauren, branch manager claimed that “We had a great time on our charity walk. We chose My Sister’s Place to fundraise for because it is a local charity in need of support who do vital work in the community.” In total, the branch raised over £320 in aid of the charity which will help to provide vital support to those in need.
