Bridport Local Community Partnership

Hays Travel Bridport arranged a charity fundraising stand at Melplash Show in aid of Julia’s House Children’s Hospice. Julia’s House Children’s Hospice provides practical and emotional support for families caring for a child with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. The charity also provides care and support in their own home, away from a hospital or hospice environment.

The branch had a stand at Melplash Show which is a local exhibition in Bridport, and to raise funds for Julia’s House, the branch had games such as spin the wheel and guess how many sweets are in the jar which attracted a variety of customers. In addition to the games, the branch also held a raffle where customers could win items such as a luxury hamper of a £100 Hays Travel voucher.

In total, due to the branch’s efforts, they managed to raise over £715 for Julia’s House Children’s Hospice which will help them to continue to deliver services to children who need it the most.
