Alexandria Local Community Partnership

Hays Travel Alexandria took part in a Kiltwalk in aid of Back Onside. Back Onside is a charity that aims to support individuals with their mental health and wellbeing, and offers support, education and awareness around mental health. The charity aims to create a community where everyone feels valued, heard, supported and inspired to live fulfilling lives, helping them to feel less alone. 

The branch took part in the 14 mile Kiltwalk which spanned from Clydebank to Balloch; they started at 09:45 and despite the rainy conditions, they walked through places such as Clydebank, Dumbarton and Alexandria, before finishing in Balloch at Loch Lamond. 

The walk took the branch around 5 hours, and they were met at the finish line by staff from Back Onside, to congratulate them for their efforts. In total, the branch raised £855 which will go towards Back Onside’s services.
