Travel Consultant Level 3 Apprenticeship

This two-year apprenticeship programme is ideal for people who are friendly, enthusiastic and keen to start a rewarding career as a travel consultant. We will help you boost your product knowledge and improve your customer service skills so that you can sell holidays to your customers. With fabulous support in a fun and vibrant environment this could be the start of your dream career, finding our customers their perfect holiday.

Jarrow Branch

Started an apprenticeship with Hays Travel in August 2015. Heidi has now completed her 2 year apprenticeship at the Jarrow branch, training to be a travel consultant.

South Shields Branch

Started at Hays Travel in August 2014 as an apprentice travel consultant. Kaigan has worked in the South Shields branch for three years now and is an intermediate travel consultant.

Head Office Apprenticeships

These one year apprenticeships take place at our head office in Sunderland city centre. Being an apprentice here means you're at the heart of our operations with plenty of people to learn from and guide you. During the year you will have the opportunity to work towards:

Customer Service Level 2 Apprenticeship

You will work as part of a team to deal with a variety of office-based tasks that are crucial to the running of our company. You will be involved in assisting internal and external customers over the phone, face-to-face and via e-mail. If you're responsible with a great attention to detail alongside a positive attitude and quick to learn, then this role is perfect for you. We will help you gain confidence, experience and transferable skills that can help you progress. During the recruitment processes we will review and discuss your skills to find the most suitable role for you that meets business needs.


Started with Hays Travel in August 2015 as a social media apprentice. Moved to the creative department in June 2016 to develop his design skills as a creative assistant.
