Thirsk branch profile

Welcome to Hays Travel Thirsk. I became branch manager for Hays Travel in 2010, when they took over my previous company. My travel career started way back in 1986, working for an independent in Helmsley. I moved to Thirsk in 1991 to become Branch Manager. I have been fortunate to travel to many Worldwide destinations, covering South East Asia, Australia, Africa and the USA to name a few.

Vicky is our Senior Travel Consultant, and has over 18 years experience in travel, the last eight years with Hays. She has travelled to many destinations including Mauritius, USA and the Norwegian Fjords. She has many repeat clients who book every year and enjoy her friendly service. Emily is our newest member of staff, joining this month, on the Apprentice scheme. We have a fully stocked Bureau de Change and Michelle will be happy to help with all your currency needs.

We offer everything from UK breaks and last minute deals, to cruises and tailor-made itineraries, checking all operators for the best deals. We are a very friendly and welcoming team, helping us to have a large repeat client base and enjoy seeing new faces in branch.

How we engage with the local community

Each year we suppor Thirsk Rotary Club with the annual sponsored bike ride.The funds raised by the club are distributed to local charities and helps local causes.

We have also been involved with Macmillan Cancer Care, helping raise funds at local events.
