Welcome to Hays Travel Paignton, where I am proud to be the Manager. My name is Fiona and I started my career in travel as a trainee in 1979 and have also worked in the Hays Travel Newton Abbot and Totnes branches. I returned to manage the Paignton branch 20 years ago. I love travelling and have had the pleasure of visiting many places in Europe, as well as long haul destinations such as the Caribbean, Australia, Mauritius and South Africa to name a few. I have also experienced many cruises, from tall ship sailing to 6-star cruise ships and lots of things in between. I particularly love the Greek Islands and usually enjoy an early season week's chill in the sun. I also enjoy playing the odd round of golf!

Matt joined us as the Assistant Manager in May 2017 and has previously worked for a long haul tour operator and was luckily enough to live in the Maldives and various other destination. He has trained and managed teams within the hospitality and retail industry. He has a passion for travel and aviation and belongs to a local flight simulation group. Other hobbies include skiing and visiting other countries which include; most of Europe, Cape Verde, Tenerife, Kos, Cyprus, Ireland, Channel Islands, Barbados, St Lucia, America, Egypt, Sri Lanka and the Maldives.

After successfully completing her Travel and Tourism qualification, Chelsea joined our apprenticeship program and has now completed this in November 2018. She has already visited Tenerife, Cyprus, Disneyland Paris and New York. She enjoys travelling, cooking and visiting different destinations, socialising with friends and walks at the beach. Ellie joined Hays Travel in September 2015 as an apprentice and took a break in learning to have a baby. Now returned from maternity leave in April 2018 Ellie has also completed her Apprenticeship in November 2018. Among the list of countries visited are Disneyland Paris, Turkey, Norway and a Spanish villa holiday. Georgie has completed a year at college in travel and tourism and also a Business and Admin Apprenticeship. Georgie has now joined our Apprenticeship program in August 2018. She has visited Disneyland Paris, Germany, Tenerife and would love to visit Australia. Georgie loves animals (especially dogs) and enjoys playing the guitar and reading. Christine our foreign exchange consultant has come from a customer service background and enjoys listening to our customers stories and experiences. She has travelled to lots of destinations including; Switzerland, Tunisia, and Florence in Italy has to be her favourite. Christine now enjoys cruising, walking and reading. James is a second year Apprentice and is building his knowledge of all different destinations. His favourite holidays so far include a tour of Vietnam and Cambodia and an interesting trip to Malta.

We have a fabulous range of holidays to offer, and between us, we have a wealth of first-hand experience in many types of holidays and destinations. Family holidays, Caravanning, skiing, golfing, cruising, city breaks, long haul, beach holidays, touring, Disneyland Paris, and Disneyland Florida - one of us have done it and got the T-Shirt. We love helping everyone, clients new and old to find the perfect holiday.
