Cyprus
I have travelled to many resorts in Cyprus, and have enjoyed my stay in all of them, Cyprus has something for everyone with Championship golf courses, inviting beaches and breath taking mountain trails, with family resorts such as Protaras with its many bars and restaurants, to the more laid back resort of Coral Bay, and then onto one of the party capitals Ayia Napa ..
Tenerife
Tenerife’s all year round agreeable climate brings thousands of tourists every year to the popular
seaside resorts of the island.
The resort of Playa de las Americas, popular with the younger tourists, has developed into a vibrant playground of clubs and bars, and is definitely not for the fainthearted! Its neighbour Los Cristianos, however, offers a slightly more laidback destination, although it is still bursting with attractions and amenities for the holidaymaker.
Santa Cruz de Tenerife is the capital city of the island is also an upbeat and buzzy holiday destination; whereas the resort of Puerto de la Cruz is definitely a destination for the more discerning holidaymaker; a lot more peaceful and more popular with an older crowd.
The coastal village of Adeje has been described as “heaven on earth”, in an article written for the British newspaper, Daily Telegraph. The area has a rugged beauty, with beautiful clean beaches and ample facilities.
St Lucia
Sheer bliss, this is my favourite of the Caribbean islands with it's lovely sandy beaches, if you fancy relaxing in your very own hammock on the beach, or may be hiring a speed boat to take you around the island to visit such places like the pitons, see where Doctor Dolittle was filmed, and then if you fancy really treating yourself why not take a trip to the famous Diamonds International.
