I live just outside of Harrogate in North Yorkshire, and I joined Hays as a Personal Travel Consultant in 2013. My career in travel spans over 20 years - working for some of the UK's leading adventure tour operators. I can organise anything from a UK city break or beach holiday in Europe to African Safaris or expedition cruising in the Polar Regions.
My job has taken me around the world, contributing to a broad knowledge of holiday destinations and the activity opportunities available. It is this enthusiasm and experience that I bring to my own business. I know which operators to contact to book my customer's ideal holiday, and I am skilled at putting together complex tailor-made itineraries. Also being part of the UK’s largest independent travel agent means that I have access to a huge array of suppliers, because of our size we have the buying power to enable us to negotiate great rates with these suppliers enabling me to pass on these great savings to you, my loyal customers.

Iceland
Iceland is incredible! The waterfalls, glaciers and volcanic terrain of Iceland's dramatic landscape provide the perfect setting for exhilarating activities such as ice climbing and snow mobiling. During the summer there are horse-riding tours and whale watching trips, or you can relax in the famous Blue Lagoon Spa. Visit in winter to experience the amazing Northern Lights. You can base yourself in Reykjavik, one of Europe's trendiest cities, or hire a car and explore Iceland on a self-guided tour.
Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka is one of the most beautiful countries I have visited – in fact I even got married there! It offers the perfect combination of beautiful beaches, tropical jungle and cool hill country, all scattered with stunning architecture. The national parks are home to elephants, leopards and -around the coast - migrating Blue Whales. The boutique hotels are really special and located in the most idyllic settings. The delicious food, warm welcome and genuine kindness of the Sri Lankan people makes it the perfect holiday paradise.
Morocco
Morocco provides a tantalizing taste of North Africa. Marrakech is one of my favourite cities, and an evening spent amongst the storytellers and snake charmers on the Djem-el-fna Square is an unforgettable experience. The Atlas Mountains offer excellent walking and mountain bike trails, and as you head south past crumbling Kasbahs and the spectacular gorges of Todra and Dades the mountains eventually melt into the Sahara. Morocco is great fun and so easy to get around. A one week holiday can pack in a lifetime of adventures.
