The places that make me smile
The Maldives Think blue skies by day & a glittering blanket of stars by night. Turquiose crystal clear waters teeming with vibrant marine life, idyllic scenery & breathtaking sunsets. Unwind in unrivalled luxury, it really is like paradise on earth. The Maldives are a group of around 1,190 islands split in 26 chains (Atolls) as they are known locally that sit in the Indian Ocean. Of these 1,190 exotic islands there are currently around 105 which are now stunning holiday resorts. You arrive at these resorts in amazing fashion either by the Dhoni speedboats or by seaplane, an experience in itself. The size & amenities of the islands can vary giving you the option of small & intimate or one that’s larger that may offer some variation. The food, hospitality, friendliness & service in these resorts are second to none. As is the snorkelling or diving in the pristine ocean that surrounds the gleaming white sands of the many island’s. You may be surprised to hear there are many excursions you can experience, one example being the sunset cruise which you can often share with pods of Dolphins. As you can imagine the destination is hugely popular for couples & honeymooners alike. I could write forever about the Maldives but trust me, words don’t tell half the story. The Maldives is a destination that everyone should be privelaged enough to experience once in their lifetime. So get in touch & i’ll gladly make it happen….
Orlando What a fantastic part of America to visit. I’ve been here around 6 times & every other year this destination offers something new to keep everyone going back. There’s so much to see & do for all, although this is obviously a very popular destination for families. Whether you want to visit the action packed theme parks such as Universal Studio’s & Busch Gardens or check out the amazing wildlife in Seaworld there’s so much on offer. Mickey & Minnie at Disneyland are obviously a huge draw for the younger members of the family & for the parents there’s a chance to unwind in the evening. That could be in one of the many bars in Universal City Walk an evening entertainment hub or dining out in a restaurant on International Drive. Maybe you’d rather have a BBQ with a few beers back at the Villa chilling by the pool. If you wanted the best of both worlds you could go crazy visiting all of the attractions & then kick back & chill in a beach resort such as Key West. Again there are so many other attractions I could talk about such as Kennedy Space Centre, Discovery Cove & water-parks aplenty to cool you down in that hot Floridian sun. Where should we stay? A villa in Kissimmee? A hotel on International Drive? Should we hire a car? What to do? Which parks to see? When to go? I can answer all of these questions, so that you don’t waste a second of what is sure to be an amazing experience in Orlando, Florida.
The Caribbean There’s actually more islands then you may think in the Caribbean, around 26 that are generally well known. I’ve seen a small number of them, the likes of Mexico (twice), Jamaica, Cuba, the Bahamas & Barbados (twice). Of course one easy way to get a mini slice of a good number of them in one hit is on a Caribbean cruise. Something I’m yet to do myself but can arrange no problem. As you can imagine the islands themselves offer beautiful beaches, fantastic weather for that perfect tan & an energy & vibrancy all of their own. Each is individual & has been shaped by the many colonial visitors of bygone years. Take the famous red telephone boxes still dotted about in Barbados for example, a throwback to the British influence. Along side the natural beauty there is plenty to see & do in the Caribbean should that be a day at the Dunn’s River Fall’s in Negril – Jamaica, visiting Cuba’s Old Havana with their famous American Cadillacs or enjoying an amazing night of food, drink & musical culture at Oistins fish market in Barbados. You can do as little or as much as you like, its that kind of vibe. So why not sit back, chillout & get into the Caribbean vibe & let me do the work in setting up your stay.
