Welcome to Hays Travel Chester-le-Street! My name is Laura and I am the Manager here in the friendly Chester-le-Street branch. I am currently into my 12th year with Hays Travel. As I am so busy during my daily working life my favourite type of holiday is a relaxing beach-based getaway somewhere nice and hot. My favourites being the beautiful Greek Islands and, for a long haul holiday, either Barbados or Mexico. However, as I have a little girl, Florida and Walt Disney World in particular is another place I am always excited to visit.

Emma J joined Hays Travel in 2014 and is our assistant manager and has really enjoyed her time here. She loves spending quality time with her family on holiday - Greece is her all time favourite! Emma has worked with us for 20 years, 12 in this branch. She loves all holidays, ranging from long haul to log cabins, and her favourite destination is also Mexico.

Helen is our part time consultant and she loves Florida going on all the thrill rides and spending time in Universal. Gemma has been our Foreign Exchange Consultant for 12 years; there isn't anything she doesn't know about currency and her favourite holiday destination is Disneyland Paris. Last, but certainly not least, our new recruits Jen, Beth, Brandon and Jess ; they love learning about exciting destinations.

How we engage with the local community

Here at Hays Travel in Chester-Le-Street, we recently raised £556 for Chester Town Youth Football Club.

We love to get involved in our local community and so we organised a coach trip to Leeds Christmas Markets. We were joined by our lovely customers to play games and people kindly donated to be in with a chance of winning some holiday vouchers.

We all had fun on the day and we would just like to say a big thank you for your generous donations. The funds will go towards Chester Town Youth football Club’s new strips.
