Welcome to Hays Travel Billingham! I have been in the travel industry for 18 years and have worked for Hays Travel for nearly eleven years, always within the Billingham branch. I started with the company as an Assistant Manager and was promoted to Manager in July 2015. I enjoy travelling to many destinations but my favourite holiday destination is Dubai; I love everything about it!

Nikki is currently our assistant manager and has joined us after working for Sainsburys foreign exchange, she has a wealth of knowledge around foreign currency and previously worked for Callers Pegasus and Dawson and Sanderson, she is looking forward to meeting all our customers. If you're looking at the USA, then come in to see Gemma who has been with the company for 7 years. She started out in the Hartlepool branch before joining us in 2016. Alice has just recently joined us from our branch in Hartlepool back in December. She enjoys her holidays and is excited to meet all of our customers. Her dream destination is Maldives.

Amy just recently qualified and is now a Travel Consultant. She is continuing to gain lots of information and experience.  Last but not least is Kim, who is our Foreign Exchange Consultant. She has worked here for 11 years and is always happy to help with any questions and queries you have about your foreign currency. She won't be beaten on her rates as she is very competitive and will go out of her way to help you get the best deal with your foreign money! She keeps us entertained with her stories and little adventures.

As a team we specialise in all types of holidays including UK stays, coach trips, city breaks, beach holidays, cruise, and long haul. We also have a very busy foreign exchange service and try to offer the best rates in Billingham. We have a very loyal customer base that is growing all the time and we always have new recommendations and fantastic feedback from our customer service scores. We are a very knowledgeable team and we have an excellent reputation within the town.

How we engage with the local community

Our branch recently held a family fun day in the town centre, it was a fantastic day and the sun was shining. We had carnival games, cake sale, colouring competition and even the chance to win a holiday

The day was a great day had by all and we raised a fantastic amount of money for our local charity Butterfly Giving of £750.00

We love to help and support our local school too Priors Mill, we have recently awarded 3 pupils a gift voucher and award for school values and friendship shown within the school.
