Full Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Bangkok

Upon arrival in Bangkok, you will meet your English-speaking airport representative who will transfer you to the 5* Avani+ Riverside Hotel Bangkok, where you will stay for the next three nights on a bed & breakfast basis. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the history, culture, architecture, and lifestyle of Central Thailand.

Day 2: Bangkok

After breakfast, your driver will collect you for your Bangkok Urban Fun Tour. Firstly, a tour of the Museum of Siam reveals the cultural identities and history of the Thai people and their relationships with neighbouring cultures. Afterwards, hop on a traditional long-tail boat to meander through the quaint canals, taking in the quieter side of Bangkok life on the Thonburi side of the Chao Phraya River. Stop at the Artist Village, a small, charming community also known as Klong Bangluang, and refresh with an iced coffee and local lunch of noodles or pad Thai (included). Enjoy a traditional Thai puppet show performed by local artists, explore the craft shop, and local temples. Then, return to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 3: Bangkok

Today, after breakfast, enjoy a free day to explore Bangkok at your leisure. Why not visit Chinatown, one of Bangkok’s most vibrant and authentic neighbourhoods, where visitors flock in their hordes to experience the amazing street-side cuisine and shopping? Or perhaps spend an enjoyable morning out of the city and experience authentic Thai culture at a floating market.

Day 4: Bangkok - Kanchanaburi & Organic Farm Visit

After breakfast, check out and take your transfer to Nakorn Patom province on the outskirts of Bangkok. Visit Patom Organic Village, a family-run eco-cultural project on the banks of the idyllic Tachine River. Immerse yourself in their organic living concept and participate in a wide range of engaging hands-on workshops inclusive of organic farming. Later, visit a traditional kitchen for a farm cooking workshop. See how they turn raw organic ingredients into traditional local foods e.g. rice, pork, mushroom, and chili paste. Take a rest at the organic coffee shop at your own expense before continuing to Kanchanaburi where you will check-in at the 4* Cross River Kwai Hotel for the next three nights on a bed & breakfast basis.
Please note - workshop and cooking only operate on Saturdays and Sundays for groups smaller than 5 people and alternative inclusions will apply.

Day 5: Kanchanaburi

Enjoy breakfast this morning before you head on your world-famous Bridge over the River Kwai tour. Take a trip back in history and visit the iconic structure as well as the nearby war museum. Learn about the horrors that unfolded during the bridge’s construction during the Second World War before boarding the train at Nam Tok Station. Ride along the infamous ‘Death Railway’, past jungles and cliffs, before returning to Kanchanaburi. Finish this historical excursion at the War Cemetery and witness the gravestones of 6,982 allied prisoners of the war, most of whom lost their lives during the construction of the bridge. Lunch is also included today. This afternoon, enjoy your hotel's prime riverside location and try out its many water-based activities, including swimming, kayaking, and paddle boating.

Day 6: Kanchanaburi

After breakfast, travel just outside town to visit Hellfire Pass, the name of a railway built during the Second World War, in part, by Allied prisoners of war. The pass is noted for the harsh conditions and heavy loss of life suffered by its labourers during construction.
After lunch at a local restaurant, get back to nature with a trip to Erawan National Park and visit the eponymous waterfall, stretching over seven tiers. Spend the afternoon hiking the nature trails and cool off in the emerald-green pools along the way.

Day 7: Kanchanaburi - Kui Buri National Park

After breakfast, check out and drive to Petchaburi to visit Baan Tham Rong Thai Kite Conservation Learning Centre. The centre is open for tourists to learn about the ancient Thai kite culture, including the chance to make your very own Chula-style kite.
After an included lunch at a local restaurant, continue the drive to Kui Buri National Park headquarters. Kui Buri National Park is renowned as the best place in Thailand to spot wild elephants, and you will also have a relatively good chance to spot gaurs, sometimes in big herds. Other wildlife sightings during your visit may include sambar deer, wild boar, and a variety of birds.
Later, transfer to the Cross Kui Buri Resort located on the beautiful beachfront of Kui Buri, where you’ll stay for the next three nights on a bed & breakfast basis.

Days 8-9: Kui Buri

You have free days to spend in Kui Buri. After enjoying a lovely breakfast, enjoy time to relax at your beautiful beachside resort or explore your surroundings at your own pace. We have recommended two optional excursions that are the perfect way to spend these days (additional cost).

Re-visit Kui Buri National Park
Why not re-visit the wonderful Kui Buri National Park, and spend time trying to spot the beautiful elephants and other wildlife. Kui Buri is home to a variety of birds, with over 260 species currently reported, and there are likely many more to be found!

Visit Sam Roi Yot National Park
Why not take a journey to Sam Roi Yot National Park, whose main attraction is Phraya Nakhon Cave with its iconic royal pavilion and large chamber. The park also boasts rich wildlife in the freshwater marsh and mangrove forests, and you’ll find beautiful beaches, limestone islands, trails, and viewpoints.

Day 10: Depart Kui Buri

Your trip comes to an end today. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before catching your transfer to Bangkok Airport for your flight to the UK, armed with wonderful memories of your adventure.
