Over 70 people joined our branch at our annual charity line dancing event, which raised a total of £960 in aid of the Alzheimer's Society.
The event took place at Hedworth Hall, South Shields, and saw line dancers from the area show off their finest moves in support of a charity very close to their heart.
It has been more than five years since the first time our team members helped the main organiser of the event, Pam Gowens, to fundraise for the Alzheimer's Society.
Pam, who is a former area manager for Hays Travel said: "The main reason why I got involved with this charity is because my partner has Alzheimers, so the Alzheimer's Society is certainly close to our hearts. I wanted to raise awareness of this fantastic charity and the work they do!
"The prizes the branch provided us with were fabulous. The event went better than expected, and the atmosphere was brilliant. We had some of the new line dancers involved and they certainly enjoyed it, which is something we're thrilled about. We're already getting requests for next year's event too."
