Toys and presents flooded in, in response to Santa’s Sleigh Appeal in aid of Norfolk-based children’s charity, Break.
At the end of the appeal, Jo, the manager from Aylsham branch, and Nina Milton, the manager from Sheringham branch, visited Break’s head office and delivered the gifts donated by their customers. Jo said: “Everyone agreed it was the most successful drive to date and it will be repeated next year.
“It has been a delight accepting the gifts in our branches, knowing they are going to such a wonderful cause, and that the children and families that Break supports will benefit from these gifts over the festive period.
This was the fifth annual an in-store Santa’s Sack Toy Appeal, organised by our Norfolk branches where the local community are able to donate toys, which were officially presented to the hospital in December.
We have been touched by people’s kindness and wish to send out a heartfelt thanks to every single person who has donated a gift.
Reflecting on the success of this year’s Santa’s Sleigh Appeal, fundraising manager at Break, Martin Green, said: “We are overwhelmed with the generosity of the customers of Hays Travel. The gifts will really give our children, young people and families an extra special Christmas.”
