To raise money for Julia’s House, our team took part in the 5k Gung-Ho obstacle course.
The award winning hospice provides practical and emotional support, tailored to the needs of each individual child and their family, giving frequent and regular support in their own homes, in the community or in their hospices.
Since 2015 over 100,000 people have taken part in the Gung-Ho experience. This year our team members decided to test their endurance and participate in the 5k obstacle course. We admit we never ran 5k before and with the added obstacles it was definitely even more difficult than we expected. While challenging, we really enjoyed this event and we are proud that we managed to support a good cause.
We would like to thank everyone for their kind donations. In total we managed to raise £401.75 for the hospice, sum which was matched by the Hays Travel Foundation taking our total to £802.50!
