Day 1: Arrive Perth
On arrival into Perth, you will be privately transferred to Crowne Plaza Perth, where you will check in to stay for the next four nights. Perth is Australia's sunniest capital city, and effortlessly blends urban cool with raw natural beauty. The city is bustling with new bars, restaurants, and outlets, and exploring these is the perfect way to spend your first night.
Day 2: Perth
This morning you will head out on a full-day coach tour to Discover Rottnest Island. You’ll be picked up at your hotel and transferred to Rottnest Island by ferry, where you’ll then enjoy a tour around the island, exploring its beauty and tranquillity. The tour will provide you with an insight into Rottnest’s cultural and historical heritage, and diverse wildlife, and you will see some of Rottnest’s most spectacular locations including the Wadjemup Lighthouse. You’ll return to Perth via ferry, where you’ll be transferred back to your hotel.
Day 3: Perth
Today you will head on your full-day Margaret River, Cave, Wine, Lighthouse, and Busselton Tour. Firstly, you’ll travel south from Perth, driving through farmland and passing by coastal towns. You’ll then stop for morning tea (own expense) at the iconic Busselton Jetty, the longest timber jetty in the southern hemisphere. Spend time at one of Margaret River’s oldest breweries and enjoy a gourmet lunch platter full of local produce, with complimentary beer and cider tastings. You’ll then discover Mammoth Cave with a guided tour through the vast chambers that reveal fascinating information on the regions flora and fauna. Visit the Boranup Forest's enormous Karri Trees, and stop at Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse, the dividing point between the Southern and Indian Oceans. You’ll then return to Perth, where you’ll be transferred back to your hotel.
Day 4: Perth
Today is at your leisure to spend in Perth. Your hotel is situated within walking distance from the famous Elizabeth Quay, a prime waterfront location with open spaces, playgrounds, public artwork, and a range of bars and restaurants. Perhaps take a leisurely stroll alongside the river and get a taste of Perth life. Perth is also home to Kings Park - one of the world's largest inner city parks. Visit here is definitely recommended to see the Perth Skyline and Swan River.
Day 5: Perth – Melbourne
Bid farewell to Perth today. You will be picked up and privately transferred to Perth Intentional Airport for your domestic flight to Melbourne. On arrival into Melbourne, pick up your hire car and drive to Holiday Inn Melbourne on Flinders, where you will stay for the next two nights. Enjoy your first night in Melbourne at leisure, your hotel is located near to the Melbourne CBD and is within walking distance of Southern Cross Station, Etihad Stadium, and Crown Casino - enjoy spending your first night exploring the local area.
Day 6: Melbourne
This morning, get ready for your Morning Laneways, Arcades and City Tour. This tour provides you with the opportunity to discover Melbourne’s famous laneways and arcades on foot with a local guide. See vibrant Flinders Lane filled with boutique designers, trendy cafés, and bars, before arriving in Hosier Lane, famous for its graffiti-covered walls. Finally, stop at the Melbourne Cricket Ground with the chance to see some sporting stars before the tour concludes at Federation Square.
Day 7: Melbourne – Apollo Bay
It’s time to leave Melbourne today and head on your Great Ocean Road Adventure. Your first stop will be at Apollo Bay, a beautiful village located at the foothills of the Otways. When you arrive, check into your hotel for the night, Captains at The Bay-Cottage, and head out to explore the village at your own pace.
Day 8: Apollo Bay – Port Fairy
After breakfast, it’s time to leave Apollo Bay for Port Fairy. Port Fairy boasts wide streets lined with 19th century cottages and old stone churches. When you arrive, check into your hotel for the night, Ashmont Motor Inn & Apartments, and head out to explore at your own pace, perhaps take a walk down to the local port, one of the busiest fishing ports in Victoria.
Day 9: Port Fairy – Robe
You’ll leave Port Fairy and Victoria behind this morning as you drive to Robe, South Australia’s favourite seaside town. When you arrive, check into your hotel for the night, Robe House-Apartment, before heading out to explore the abundance of heritage-listed buildings and famous landmarks surrounding the town.
Day 10: Robe – Barossa Valley
It’s time to head to the Barossa Valley today, the renowned wine-producing region northeast of Adelaide. When you arrive, check into your hotel for the night, Barossa Shiraz Estate-The Vines, before making your way to discover one of the world’s best wine regions, with more than 150 wineries and 80 cellar doors.
Day 11: Barossa Valley – Adelaide
This morning, you will check out and head to your final stop, the city of Adelaide, South Australia’s cosmopolitan coastal capital. When you arrive, check into your hotel, Hotel Grand Chancellor Adelaide, where you will stay for your final two nights. The rest of the day is at your leisure. If you would like head to the beach, you are in the perfect place, as Adelaide has so many beautiful beaches close to the city centre. Just a 20 minute tram ride from Adelaide is Glenelg Beach, where you can walk along the sand and grab a bite to eat from one of the many restaurants dotted along Jerry Road.
Day 12: Adelaide
This morning, you’ll head on your Morning Market Breakfast Tour. Known as Adelaide's Foodie Heaven, the Adelaide Central Market is crammed full of local gourmet delights for you to savour. Start with a delicious light breakfast at one of the market’s iconic store holders, before soaking up the atmosphere as you wander through the market. You will be amazed at the incredible assortment of irresistible fresh product, gourmet foods, and native and exotic delights. Gain the perfect insight into the vibrant multicultural influences and passion for fresh food held by the Adelaide locals. Your taste buds will come alive as you sample coffee beans, nuts, yoghurt, fruits, and succulent meats along the way, finishing up with the best chocolates in Adelaide. At the completion of your tour, make your own way to your accommodation.
Day 13: Adelaide – UK
Check out of your hotel and drop off your rental car at Adelaide Airport before catching your flight back to the UK, armed with wonderful memories of your adventure.
