Rome
Rome is one of the most historic places I have visited. The highlights of the city include the colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Spanish steps. Rome is the ideal destination for a city break as you can pack so much in with a short space of time. Whilst you’re at Rome there is also the Vatican City you can visit for the day and explore. The food is also amazing throughout the city and you won’t be hungry when visiting!

Tenerife
Tenerife is my favourite island in the Canaries.
Tenerife has some much on offer whether it be making a splash in Siam Park in the south of the island to exploring mount Teide in the North. Tenerife is a great destination all year round as it has wall to wall sunshine. One of my favourite resorts in Playa Las Americas in the south. There so much on offer there from Sunbathing round the pool in the day to enjoying the vibrant nightlife in the evening -
Madeira
Madeira is one of the most famous places for wine, the climate and its new years fireworks display. Madeira has a huge host of things to do from the cable car which takes you to the botanical gardens and the starting point of the toboggans. The most famous attraction in Madeira is the toboggans which started in the 19th century. The toboggans travel 2km and can reach speeds up to 38 km/per hr. As well as this there is also a world famous afternoon tea which is held at Reid’s every afternoon. Another place to stop and have a refreshment is Blandys wine lodge to try some traditional Madeiran wine and you can even bring some home. The best time to visit Madeira is December through to March as it’s the coolest temperatures but still warm.
