Fantastic pool
This hotel is excellently located only a short walk from Bardolino.
There's a very large pool for swimming and relaxing around too, which is ideal for a sunny holiday.

Parc Hotel Gritti must be pretty perfect because many guests just keep coming back, year-on-year!

Mrs Graham, 08 June 2018

Room was very good, clean and well equipped. The let down was the meals. In theory there were 4 restaurants however one was the pool bar which served snacks and lunch. There were 2 main dining rooms open for breakfast but only one opened between 6.30 and 8.30 for dinner. This was self-service and very chaotic. If you arrived later than 7.30 the staff were usually clearing tables and setting them for breakfast and the desert table had little left. The so called a la Carte restaurant had to be booked with the head morning on the day that you wanted to eat there and you could only book if you were a party of 4, which we were at the beginning of the holiday, luckily. The food was served by the head waiter but was little different to that in the main dining room and certainly not special. This dining room was little used as most people staying there were couples. A stupid system. The food was just OK. The staff were friendly and the pool area quite nice but the dining situation let the hotel down. I would not stay there again.

Mr Smith, 05 September 2017

Hotel is up-dating rooms and we got a room with walk-in shower as we had asked for, agreeing to pay a supplement as bookings made through Thomsons are for a standard room only

Mr Golding, 05 June 2017

Had a few problems with plumbing in room i.e. waste plunger didn't work, unit. Changed but still too stiff for us to use . Occassional smell of sewage when sitting on balcony. Fumes from something one night, reported but no feed back.

This was our sixth visit to the Gritti in Bardolino. We were made very welcome, as always, and we shall probably return. The accommodation was its usual high standard, the service was excellent and the food catered for every taste. The staff work very hard and their endeavours are greatle appreciated.

Mr Burnett, 29 May 2015

The hotel was absolutely fantastic and the staff were always very courteous and friendly and always willing to help. The meals were very good with plenty of choice.
Would certainly recommend it to anyone planning on staying in Bardolino

Mrs Ryalls, 16 September 2014

Very friendly and helpful staff. All parts of the hotel were accessible which was important as my husband uses a wheelchair. We were able to book a room with a walk in shower which again was important for my husband.

Mr Blakey, 15 September 2014

A good hotel that has seen better days. Most rooms are NOT non-smoking, so for non smokers this can lead to a room with an odour that is unpleasant. Meals very good, but with 500 guests there tends to be a scramble at the self service restaurant. Staff very helpful and friendly , but no notices about frequency of towel changes and so this was spasmodic and also we did not get shampoo or soap replenished every day . However we spent an enjoyable week there.
