We recently hosted an exclusive charity day in branch to help local girl Molly Bamborough. Molly, who turned 3 this year, has been battling Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia since birth. The condition was diagnosed when her mother was 21 weeks pregnant as Molly was given a very slim chance of survival. She has had to go through 33 operations so far and this has had a serious impact on her life. We raised a total of £700 which will go towards helping Molly’s mother with some everyday living costs and perhaps some of the funds could be used towards taking Molly somewhere nice when she’s better. The outcome of the event was overwhelming and we are now looking forward to our next charity initiative.
