Full itinerary 

Day 1: Arrive Melbourne
On arrival into Melbourne Airport, you will be taken by private transfer to 4* Oaks Melbourne Lonsdale Suites, where you will stay for the next four nights on a room-only basis. Enjoy your first night in Melbourne at leisure, your hotel is located in the heart of the city, close to Bourke Street Mall, Federation Square, Chinatown, and Princess Theatre – enjoy spending your first night exploring the local area. 


Day 2: Philip Island
Today you’ll head on your full-day Philip Island Tour, where you will encounter iconic wildlife and stunning scenic views. Start the day with a visit to the Koala Reserve, then join an experienced park ranger to see the koalas up close in their natural habitat. You’ll also see the Penguin Parade from elevated boardwalks and viewing stands to ensure you can enjoy all the action without disturbing them.


Day 3: Melbourne
This morning, get ready for your Morning Laneways, Arcades and City Tour. This tour provides you with the opportunity to discover Melbourne’s famous laneways and arcades on foot with a local guide. See vibrant Flinders Lane filled with boutique designers, trendy cafés, and bars before arriving in Hosier Lane, famous for its graffiti-covered walls. Finally, stop at the Melbourne Cricket Ground with the chance to see some sporting stars before the tour concludes at Federation Square. 


Day 4: Melbourne
Today you have a free day to spend as you please in Melbourne. Perhaps visit Melbourne Zoo, home to over 300 animal species from Australia and around the world. You can also visit the old Melbourne Gaol, Victoria’s first prison, and one of Melbourne’s oldest surviving buildings. 


Day 5: Melbourne – Sydney
It’s time to bid farewell to Melbourne today as you head for your next destination. Board the XPT regional rail transfer and enjoy your first-class rail journey through to Sydney. When you arrive, make your way to 4* Oaks Sydney Goldsbrough Suites hotel to check in – this is where you will stay for the next four nights. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, perhaps head to nearby Darling Harbour for waterfront entertainment and dining. 


Day 6: The Blue Mountains
This morning you’ll head on your full-day Blue Mountains and Australian Wildlife Tour, which provides you with the opportunity to explore the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains National Park, home to over one million hectares of dramatic cliffs, unspoiled bushland, deep canyons, and lush rainforest. Visit the famous Three Sisters rock formation, explore leafy village Leura, and enjoy the afternoon on an Aussie Bush Safari at Sydney Zoo to get up close to some Australian wildlife. 


Day 7: Hunter Valley
Today you’ll head on your full-day Hunter Valley Food and Wine Experience tour, which allows you to experience Australia’s oldest wine-producing region, the picturesque Hunter Valley. Arrive at opulent Leogate Estate Wines where you will learn about their wine-making process and enjoy a wine tasting while overlooking the estate vineyards and the Brokenback Ranges. Finish the day at Roche Estate where you have time to explore the local shops and cafés. 


Day 8: Sydney
Enjoy a free day to spend at leisure in Sydney. The city is the perfect place to stock up on designer fashion, local designs, handcrafted jewellery, and chic homeware, thanks to the abundance of multi-storey shopping centres, unique boutiques, and bustling markets surrounding the city. Perhaps spend the day browsing your favourite shops, and possibly find some new ones! 


Day 9: Sydney – Brisbane
This morning is also at your leisure in Sydney, perhaps spend time exploring the city and discovering an array of delicious experiences, from Michelin-star restaurants to alleyway cafés – you’ll never run short on delicious dining options in Sydney. Later on in the day, you’ll board the XPT regional rail transfer and enjoy your first-class overnight sleeper rail journey to Brisbane. 


Day 10: Brisbane
When you arrive in Brisbane, make your way to 4* Hotel Grand Chancellor Brisbane, where you will stay for the next three nights. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overlooking the picturesque Roma Street Parklands, your Brisbane accommodation affords commanding views of the city skyline, surrounding mountains, or Brisbane River, and is only a short walk to the city or a 15-minute walk to Suncorp Stadium.


Day 11: Australia Zoo
Get ready for your full-day Croc Express to Australia Zoo Tour today. Travel in an air-conditioned Croc Express coach to the zoo made famous by Steve and Terri Irwin, now a living legacy to Steve and his conservation efforts. Home to over 1,200 native and exotic species of wildlife, you’ll see koalas, wombats, snakes, kangaroos, and more. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your Brisbane accommodation.


Day 12: Brisbane
Today you have a free day to spend in Brisbane. Perhaps spend the day at South Bank Parklands, Brisbane’s premier lifestyle and cultural hub located on the southern banks of the Brisbane River. The area boasts world-class eateries, stunning views, and hundreds of delightful events year-round, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. 


Day 13: Brisbane - UK
Today your holiday comes to an end. After checking out of your hotel, you will be privately transferred to Brisbane Airport for your return flight home to the UK, with many memories of your Australian adventure to treasure.
