Perfect Slice of Heaven
This was our first holiday as a couple for my partner and I. It was heaven! We were greeted by smiling and helpful receptionists, given our key quickly and shown to a modern fresh room, with a balcony overlooking the sea and the added bonus of a bottle of wine.

The hotel had everything you could hope for. Walk from the hotel and you were directly on the beach. The bar was not too far away, with an outside restaurant a few feet from that. We had full use of everything, even the gym, although I wasn't that adventurous to actually try it.

I will be honest I booked this holiday because I didn't want children running around. I hadn't realised that it was a child friendly hotel, so when we arrived and realised there were children running around, I was a little disappointed. BUT! this hotel had a kids club and made sure that the children were truly entertained and didn't cause any bother to adults at all. It was almost like they didn't exist.

The hotel has a lovely restaurant inside, the waitresses couldn't do enough for you, they were so helpful. You could help yourself to a wide variety of food. It was nice seeing chefs running around making sure everything was to perfection. The only issue that I had was with the outdoor restaurant, where I found the food was rather bland and boring. But this was the total opposite with the evening meal. We even had chance to eat within the Asian restaurant, even though there were limited places they made sure everyone got the chance to dine here. It was a small restaurant, but very intimate.

We didn't want to be in the hustle and bustle of things. Just to relax, and this is exactly what we did. We weren't bored. The hotel laid on regular trips all over Corfu and even trips to other Greek islands. We did Corfu Town and I'd honestly say the amount of time you have from going in the morning to catching the bus back isn't enough time. So we stayed longer, which worked out perfectly. We had a lovely meal, mooched around the town and walked along the marina. Getting back to the hotel, because we didn't get the bus, cost us about 30euros, which we thought was rather reasonable.

I'd go back again. But after being on one of the boat trips, I'd try a different island. Greece is absolutely beautiful. Fantastic company, beautiful weather, lovely people - it truly was my little slice of heaven.
