Fabulous hotel with great entertainment
Fantastic hotel that's great for families. I had an amazing time and my young daughter loved it! Food was amazing and the entertainment throughout both day and night was perfect. I never wanted to come home.

I would definitely recommended to everyone and anyone. Can't wait to go back myself very soon!

It needs the entertainment to end at midnight though, also more toilets around the entertainment bar, but it’s a lovely hotel, luv the way the rooms have two levels, lots of space.

the only thing I had a problem with was we got to the hotel after 10pm and no snacks and refreshments were made available especially with 6 kids after a 4 hour flight and coach ride.we had to order a take away.

This is a copy of my email I will be putting on trip advisor

It's a great place and we would definitely go back, if this is an example of his hotels the other 2 would be worth a visit I think one of them is the Green Gardens on the other side of the Golf course but I don't know the name of the one right in Las Americas

First off, would I return to the Gran Oasis Resort. Yes, I would, so would my wife and 2 Grandsons (10 & 5 yrs).

This is a well maintained lovely resort, hugely assisted by very friendly affable staff.

It is only 15 minutes away from the airport and is situated on the edge of a golf course.

It is a good, good walk to the town center.

Reception is well staffed and they are very helpful.

We were lucky when we arrived, as one of the reception staff is Pepe, not a true British name I know but Pepe is Scottish, so he can assist, with no language problem if there is one, this is not saying that the rest of the staff cannot assist, as they are all so friendly, to name a few, Pepe, Renate, Juan, Kiko, Luis, Ana, Stephanie, Alexandro, Vera.

There are a lot of stairs around the property but there are ramps around to assist people with walking difficulties or those with small children and pushchairs.

There are different types of rooms ours was a one bedroom with 2 pull out beds in the lounge area. The room is on two levels but is spacious, a balcony on either floor

Yes, there are minor faults but nothing outrageous with a property that has probably had a heavy summer period, not worth going running to management. Staff are evident all through the complex carrying out cosmetic work.

Everything works in the apartment which is fitted works although we were all inclusive it had the items for self-catering,

You can when on site if there are other rooms available upgrade to larger rooms.

You can also upgrade onsite from low categories to all inclusive, if you want to push the boat out you can go for their premium drinks all-inclusive package but premium drinks you can by bottles cheaper and are locally available.

There are three pools which will cater for all age groups and there are plenty of sunbeds for all the pool areas have anti-slip faux-grass around all of the pools. The pool areas are all cleaned down every-night.

There are 2 bars which are open from 10 and a snack bar which serves snacks nearly all during the day (11.00-12.30 and 13.00-1500, 16.00-18.00). At the snack bar it is self-service for beer/wines/softies/water/tea/coffee/hot chocolate.

The buffet food is well cooked and well prepared and they have theme nights every night so there is a different menu every day (Tex-Mex/Italian/Canarian /Spanish/Oriental/Gala/I nternational

Plenty of ice-cream and softies for the kids.

There are activities arranged all through the day by the staff especially for the kids, which goes through to a mini disco at 19.30. they also have an amusement arcade, pool tables, a small fitness area

The only place you use cash on the premises is the reception if necessary and the supermarket, you charge things to your room or use your room card to do this.

The premises even have their own massage/beauty area, sorry cannot tell you what it's like as we didn't use it

Pool towels are available from reception.

The Resort also offers a free bus service to the main shopping area in Las Americas, Siam Park and the Beach. If you don't get the return bus its only between 5-7 euros back to the resort but if you use the taxis get a receipt if you think the cost is too much.

The owners of the Oasis also own another couple of hotels in the area, and also the Monkey Beach Club on the Sea Front.

This looks a very popular resort with people of all ages coming here. Well attended by British people and a lot from the Scandinavian countries.

If we go back to Tenerife, this will definitely be on our short list.

Rooms were dangerous for young children but also could only get to certain parts of hotel with push chair as no lifts and ramps didn't lead to all areas
