Discover the very best that Yorkshire has to offer on this five-day break! From your base in the very heart of delightful Harrogate, you'll explore the historic city of York with its spectacular Minster, unique Shambles, and fantastic range of independent shops and boutiques. You'll also enjoy a jaunt to nearby Knaresborough before visiting RHS Harlow Carr, which showcases beautiful floral displays and trails. Look forward to the sights of elegant Harrogate at your own pace or you can also join an optional excursion to the lovely market town of Skipton.

Your Floral Harrogate and RHS Harlow Carr tour gets underway with a regional pickup by coach or Door-to-Door service. Your journey takes you to Harrogate for a four-night stay on a half-board basis. Relax at the hotel and enjoy a delicious evening meal or why not start exploring the town? The following day you'll visit the market town of Knaresborough, set high above the River Nidd and filled with 'olde worlde' charm; before continuing on to RHS Harlow Carr Gardens. Evoking the surrounding landscapes with water features, dry stone walls and wooded areas: explore the colourful herbaceous borders, wildflower meadows, and streamside walks; follow the Sculpture Trail, stroll through the Scented Garden or the Main Borders, or enjoy a treat at the on-site Betty’s Café Tea Room.

You'll have time on day three to explore Harrogate at your own pace. The Royal Hall hosts fantastic shows and performances, why not enjoy a cream tea at Betty’s Café Tea Rooms, or perhaps join the optional excursion to Skipton with its 900-year-old castle, romantic ruined priory, and historic cobbled High Street and market. On day four, take a trip to historic York and discover the city’s Viking past at the Jorvik Viking Centre; 300 years of railway history at the National Railway Museum; or York’s sweet history at the Chocolate Story. Don’t miss the breathtaking Gothic-style York Minster, York’s many shops along with excellent cafés, pubs and restaurants; and the Shambles with its over-hanging timber-framed houses and traditional shop fronts. Your tour comes to an end after breakfast on day five when you return home.
