Explore the local countryside and hills on horseback, bike or on foot. The children will enjoy a day out at the Wet n Wild waterpark in Sarakinado. Take a boat trip to Smugglers Cove, to see the shipwreck or swim in the crystal clear waters, or visit the famous Blue Caves. A glass bottom boat ride is the best way to get up close to the loggerhead turtles.
Kalamaki's nightlife is lowkey, with evenings spent dining and drinking in the local tavernas, with traditional music, singing and dancing as a backdrop.
