Faliraki Holidays

Once upon a time, holidays in Faliraki were the exclusive realm of party animals. Nowadays, this Rhodes resort has the perfect mix of ingredients to suit families and couples too. The nightlife is still late and lively, so it’s not the best place to come if you’re looking for total peace and quiet, but great if you like plenty of evening entertainment. If it’s non-stop revelry you’re looking for, head to the aptly-named Bar Street and then move on to Club Street. For a fun getaway in the Greek sun, Faliraki holidays are hard to beat. There’s a long, sandy beach just packed with sunbeds and watersports, plus a popular water park and a funfair, both of which get the thumbs up from grown-ups as well as little ones. With a good choice of self catering apartments and hotels in Faliraki, there are plenty of places to stay, too. With so much going for it, it’s easy to see why Faliraki is one of the most-wanted spots in Rhodes.

Most holidays here revolve around the gorgeous, sandy beach. With its clear seas, watersports and plentiful sunbeds, you could be forgiven for staying put for the duration of your holiday. If you can tear yourself away, youll find plenty to see and do in Faliraki and elsewhere on the island of Rhodes. Head to the dizzying water park for thrills and spills, or take to the fairground for bright lights and rides. Culture and history buffs love Rhodes town, with its winding alleys and Medieval fortresses, Lindos is worth a visit for its lofty acropolis and stunning views, whilst Butterfly Valley is great for a fix of peace and tranquillity. If you fancy a day at sea, there are plenty of boat trips; from party cruises to excursions to islands nearby, even a trip to Turkey.

The legendary nightlife used to be Falirakis biggest draw. Its still present things have just calmed down a bit. The resort has reinvented itself as an allrounder, with plenty of familyfriendly pubs alongside the nightclubs, pubs and karaoke bars. Young and lively visitors still come on holidays to Faliraki, but these days, theres plenty to keep other visitors happy too.

You can practically eat your way around the world in Faliraki. The abundant restaurants in the resort serve up everything from Italian to Chinese cuisine. Of course, theres plenty of fast food available if you wish and most hotels in Faliraki have their own restaurants or snack bars on site. No holiday here would be complete without a traditional local dinner, best enjoyed on the al fresco terrace of an authentic taverna. Yiamas!
