Homeworking Educational - Steve Smith

I was lucky enough to be invited to Mexico on an educational trip hosted by Palladium in March. This was my first visit to Mexico - I book it regularly for customers so to get the opportunity to go was fantastic (plus I had many customers including friends booked to go after my visit to the TRS Yucatan) - so I was happy I was able to stay here!

The whole trip was incredible - the hotels I stayed in (TRS Yucatan and Coral) are both adults only hotels but you have the bonus of having the run around and use of the facilities in the other hotels in the resorts (Yucatan you have the Grand Palladium Colonial Kantenah and White Sands and at the Coral you have Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres and the Grand Palladium Family selection). Different dining and drinking options will be across the varying resorts - you won't be stuck for somewhere good to eat / drink!

I was in an amazing Junior Suite and as soon as I got in I was impressed! So spacious , ultra-comfy huge bed , choice of spirits , free restocked minibar , nespresso machine , brilliant shower and a separate bathtub plus a fab good sized balcony. You get Butler service (for your block) they aren't invasive but they will introduce themselves and show you round room and answer any questions etc. and are available for you to use throughout your stay. Very friendly and welcoming. 24 hour room service - fancy a burger and chips? Or maybe lobster and champagne? It’s available to order free of charge!

We got to go to some amazing places while we were there. Xel-Ha is a commercial aquatic theme park + eco-tourism development. Our first day we spent most of the day here - I am a non-swimmer but I enjoyed lazing in the sun watching the others have fun in the water , and enjoyed some walks around the park. You can snorkel, zip-line, swim plus more! It’s a really fun day out for all age groups. One of the nights we got to go to Coco Bongo Cancun. What a night! I have had many customers / friends been here and said it was amazing. I didn't know exactly what was to come of the night and what to expect - we were there at the start of Spring Break and the place was packed - but it was incredible! A nightclub with actors, musicians, and flying acrobats plus much more, what else could you ask for!

The second hotel stayed at was the TRS Coral in Costa Mujeres and again adults only (new hotel opened in November 2018). The room certainly had a WOW factor! Similar that the minibar was restocked, and had choice of 4 spirits in room (These will be replaced free but the empty bottles must be kept in room or a charge was made). I loved the pool at the TRS CORAL, it was an infinity pool with a swim up bar - take me back right now! The dining options here are superb and if you enjoy a-la-carte dining then you will absolutely love it. We got asked which hotel preferred and it was such a hard question to answer that I sat on the fence and said liked them both equally - I would without a shadow of a doubt return to both hotels and recommend and book customers to stay at either hotels.
