My educational trip to Mexico - Michaela Marsh

 Mexico Educational

Michaela works as part of our Personal Travel Consultant business development team here in Head Office and recently headed to Mexico on an educational trip to check out the TRS Yucatan hotel courtesy of Palladium Group!

Here’s what she thought about her incredible trip…

From arriving at the TRS Yucatan we were treated like VIP guests. We were greeted with a cold glass of champagne and taken to their exclusive check-in area. We then hopped into a golf buggy and were transported to our suite, which I can only describe as breathtaking! The focal point in my Junior Suite was the freestanding whirlpool bath, which was perfect for relaxing and really gave my room the WOW factor!

The butler service was something I had never had the privilege of experiencing before, but the butler went above and beyond expectations to ensure everyone's stay was as perfect as possible. I used the room service privilege one evening and it couldn't have been easier. A few clicks through on your TV remote and BAM… all ordered! The butler then phones you five minutes after you place the order to ask if you want to add any extra sides/drinks to your order and also advise the time you will wait, which I may add was very precise.

The highlights of this hotel for me personally were the Helios Beach Club and the infinity pool. I could have spent every day soaking up the rays by the pool, which had a live DJ and experienced mixologist working the bar. The high end food and presentation at Helios was outstanding, I really felt like a VIP guest, as I think all the holiday makers will have. Staff in all aspects, from the butlers, concierge through to the bar staff, were all brilliant and made my stay that bit more memorable.

The large choice of bars and restaurants makes you feel like you are not just in one hotel but that you are going on lovely evenings out to a variety of posh restaurants! This was without a doubt the best hotel chain I have ever visited, and the resort as a whole is AMAZING!
