Chloe Hansford - My First Year as an apprentice
I started working for Hays Travel in September 2017 after completing my A-Levels and instantly felt welcome and supported by all of my colleagues. Travel was something completely new to me however I have already learnt so many invaluable life skills that have helped me both at work and in my personal life.
Key training sessions and assessor visits throughout the year, kept up my enthusiasm and enabled me to always be on track with my NVQ work.
I have attended many supplier events including a three course meal at Bovey Castle and received recognition from a supplier when she took us out for dinner. Everything learnt at these events has been really beneficial to me and boosted my confidence working in travel.
Each day is different and that's what makes it so incredibly interesting. Heading into my second year, I feel confident and ready to further my travel knowledge whilst always knowing that there are so many opportunities to develop further within the company.
I couldn't recommend the apprenticeship scheme enough, make sure to apply today!
