A perfect introduction to the working world for your child

Here at Hays Travel, we have a fantastic alternative to College or University. Making the step from school into the world of work a complete life change; the information below is designed to help give your son or daughter the support and guidance when making the right career choices.

If your son or daughter is interested in starting work and they are keen to develop their skills and knowledge whilst working towards achieving a nationally-recognised apprenticeship certificate, then an apprenticeship with Hays Travel could be the right option for them. In 2018, we recruited over 170 apprentices throughout our head office and retail network and won the Investors in People Apprenticeship Employer of the Year Award. Hays Travel has been employing apprentices for over 30 years and these are some of the reasons why:

Earn while you learn

Annual salary paid monthly while you complete the apprenticeship programme

Nationally-Recognised Apprenticeship Certificate

Specific skills and knowledge depending on job role within head office or retail alongside a full development programme that builds lifelong skills that are transferred into the work place and build confidence and competence

Job security

Permanent position guaranteed on completion of the apprenticeship programme. We have a 100% success rate of this!

Career progression is the norm at Hays Travel and quickly our people have the opportunity to further develop once they have completed their apprenticeship

Expanding company

Ongoing expansion plans across the UK

Staff benefits

Generous holiday entitlement and staff events throughout the year

Educational & training opportunities

Once an apprenticeship is complete it doesn’t mean the training stops. All of our staff are given the opportunity to attend a variety of training courses throughout their careers. They also get the chance to travel the world on educational trips.

Community is really important to us here at Hays and every branch is given a community partnership budget to use towards fundraising events in their local area.
