In 2018, we recruited over 170 apprentices throughout our head office and retail network and also won the Investors in People Apprenticeship Employer of the Year Award. Hays Travel has employed apprentices for over 30 years and believe recruiting, training, developing, nurturing, and retaining our apprentices is the key to our success. Apprentices earn an annual salary paid monthly whilst completing their apprenticeship programme
Nationally-Recognised Apprenticeship Certificate
Apprenticeships are a credible alternative to college or university. Level 3 advanced apprenticeships are equivalent to 2 A level passes. A Level 2 Intermediate apprenticeship is equivalent to 5 GCSE passes at grade A* - C or 9 – 4.
Apprentices learn specific skills and knowledge depending on job role within head office or retail. Alongside a full development programme that builds lifelong skills that are transferable into the work place, they’ll also build their confidence and competence.
On completion of apprenticeship programme – a permanent position is guaranteed. We have a 100% success rate of this!

Educational & training opportunities
Once an apprenticeship is complete it doesn’t mean the training stops. All of our staff are given the opportunity to attend a variety of training courses throughout their careers. They also get the chance to travel the world on educational trips.
Community is really important to us here at Hays Travel and every branch is given a community partnership budget to use towards fundraising events in their local area.
