Day 1: UK to Cancun
On arrival into Cancun International Airport, you will be taken by private transfer to the beachfront Oasis Palm Cancun, where you will stay for ten nights on an all-inclusive basis. Enjoy dinner tonight at one of the incredible on-site restaurants.
Days 2-3: Enjoy 2 Free Days in Cancun
Enjoy two free days in Cancun. Enjoy delicious buffet breakfasts to start your day, then spend your time in Cancun as you wish. Perhaps relax by the pool and bask in the warm Mexican sun while the excellent entertainment crew amuse you throughout the day. You also might like to explore the local area.
Day 4: Chichen Itza Full Day Tour incl. Lunch
Today, you’ll embark on a full-day tour of Chichen Itza. You’ll be picked up at the hotel at 8.30am and after being driven to Chichen Itza, take a guided tour of this archaeological site. Experience the legendary Mayan ruins and learn all about the Mayan people and their influence on Mexican culture. You will also have some free time on-site to enjoy the city's many secrets and legends. You’ll then head to a cenote (natural pool) where you have time to swim in the crystal-clear waters before enjoying a delicious buffet lunch of regional dishes. After lunch, travel onwards to the town of Valladolid where you'll have some free time to walk through the town, check out the local craft shops, and enjoy some tasty street food, before returning to your Cancun hotel in the early evening.
Days 5-6: Enjoy 2 More Free Days in Cancun
Enjoy another two free days in Cancun. You can spend this time checking out the hotel’s facilities, including a spa and fitness centre, or perhaps visit downtown Cancun for a taste of local culture, delicious street food, and small, unique shops. You may also wish to visit Mercado 28 (Market 28), a huge shopping centre in downtown Cancun that isn’t your typical mall, instead it is a giant flea-market boasting approximately 600 vendors. Dinner can be enjoyed within the hotel's restaurants as part of your all-inclusive package.
Day 7: Tulum Mayan Ruins Tour
Tuck into an early breakfast before getting picked up at 8am to head on a guided tour of the Tulum Archaeological Site to explore the Mayan ruins. As a crucial part of the Mayan culture, you’ll learn everything about what made the city so important, and with temples scattered throughout the city, the tour will be both an educational experience and an incredibly interesting tour of the region. You’ll also visit Parque Dos Ojos and take a refreshing swim in the waters of Nicte-Ha Cenote at Dos Ojos. Here you’ll enjoy a scenic lunch while also learning all about one of the biggest underground water networks. You’ll then be taken back to your hotel to enjoy dinner and prepare for the next day.
Day 8: Isla Mujeres Catamaran Cruise
Fuel up on your all-inclusive breakfast before departing for your catamaran cruise to Isla Mujeres at 8am. First you’ll visit Museo Sabacuatico de Arte, AKA the Underwater Museum of Art, home to over 500 life-size sculptures. The aim of the museum is to promote coral life conservation, and it is a wonderful way to spend your morning. You’ll then board your double decker catamaran to discover the magnificent Isla Mujeres, where you’ll have the chance to enjoy lunch, snorkel, relax, and explore the idyllic main town. Finally, you’ll visit Playa Norte, known as one of the most beautiful beaches in Mexico. Sit back and relax next to the pristine, turquoise waters. You’ll then be transferred back to your hotel to enjoy the rest of your night at leisure, perhaps trying one of the hotel restaurants you may not have visited yet.
Days 9-10: Enjoy Your Last 2 Free Days in Cancun
Enjoy two more free days in Cancun. Thanks to the variety of restaurants, your lunch and dinner in the hotel will excite you, whether you fancy Italian dishes and wine or authentic Mexican cuisine. During your free time you may like to visit Torre Escenica (Cancun Scenic Tower), which offers amazing views of the Caribbean coast and beautiful Cancun itself, and is open 9am-9pm every day. You’ll hear all about the history of Cancun as the tower slowly spins 360 °, giving you a bird’s-eye view of the city below.
Day 11: Depart Cancun
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel before being transferred privately to Cancun International Airport for your overnight flight back to the UK.
