 Full Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Buenos Aires

Upon arrival into Buenos Aires Airport, you’ll be picked up and privately transferred to your hotel, NH Crillon Hotel, where you will stay for the next three nights on a bed & breakfast basis. The rest of your day is at leisure to explore one of the most interesting metropolises in Latin America. As the stunning capital city of Argentina, this dynamic and cosmopolitan city boasts not only great cultural heritage, but architectural wonders.

Day 2: Buenos Aires

Enjoy a lovely breakfast this morning before heading on your private city tour of Buenos Aires. During this tour, you will discover the highlights of Buenos Aires, also known as the “Paris of South America”. You will start at Mayo Square, where the Government House, the Cathedral, and the Cabildo (former Town Hall) are located. Then, you will continue to San Telmo, one of the most ancient neighbourhoods, until you reach La Boca, famous for its colourful and picturesque houses situated along Caminito Street. Finally, you will head north to visit Recoleta, the most elegant district home to wide avenues, lovely parks, and magnificent residences. There you will also visit the monumental cemetery where Eva Perón and other historical figures are buried.

This evening, you’ll be picked up by your guide and taken to your Tango Show at El Querandí. El Querandí is held in an old restored house in the city’s historic quarter, boasting high ceilings, Solomonic columns, and dark woodwork. The show invites you to relive the atmosphere of the beginning of the 20th Century and travel through the history of tango with an intense and passionate performance. Dinner is included tonight.

Day 3: Buenos Aires – Santa Susana

Enjoy breakfast this morning before being picked up and privately transferred to Estancia Santa Susana for your Fiesta Gaucha Tour. When you arrive at the estancia, you’ll be greeted with empanadas, and then enjoy a delicious asado (BBQ) for lunch (included), followed by a folk music show and amazing gaucho skill demonstration.  There will also be some time at leisure to enjoy peaceful country life, where you can walk around the estancia, ride horses, or even take a carriage ride. You will be transferred back to Buenos Aires in the afternoon.

Day 4: Buenos Aires – Iguassú Falls (Brazilian Side)

Today after breakfast, check out of your hotel and meet your private transfer to the airport for your flight to Iguassú Falls. Upon arrival into Iguassú Falls Airport, you’ll be picked up and privately transferred across the Argentina-Brazil border to your hotel, Viale Cataratas Hotel, where you will stay for the next two nights on a bed & breakfast basis. This afternoon, enjoy your guided touring experience of the Brazilian side of Iguassú Falls, the largest waterfall in the world. Take in the awe-inspiring, panoramic views of this natural wonder from the viewing platform, and you also have the opportunity to pay for an optional boat ride, that will take you up close to the falls.

Day 5: Iguazú Falls (Argentine side)

After a hearty breakfast, today you’ll be privately transferred back across the border to explore the Argentine side of the Falls, which offers a very different perspective. A highlight of today is the chance to see ‘the Devil’s Throat’ – the largest horseshoe-shaped water curtain of Iguazú Falls, with a drop of over 260 feet. You’ll also love marvelling at the rainbow mists that emerge from the falls, an experience unlike any other.

Day 6: Iguazú Falls (Brazilian Side) – Rio de Janeiro

Today after breakfast, check out of your hotel and meet your private transfer to the airport for your flight to Rio. Upon arrival into Rio Airport, you’ll be picked up and privately transferred to your hotel, Windsor Copa Hotel, where you will stay for the next four nights on a bed & breakfast basis. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure in Rio, perhaps heading out to explore the city and catching a late dinner.

Day 7: Corcovado & Sugar Loaf Mountain, Rio de Janeiro

After breakfast, you’ll head on your full-day tour of two of Rio’s iconic landmarks. Firstly you’ll visit Corcovado, where you’ll travel to the very top of this unbeatable viewpoint to witness up-close the famous statue of Christ the Redeemer, which looks over the whole of Rio de Janeiro. After time for lunch (own expense), you’ll then head to Sugar Loaf Mountain and take the cable car journey up to marvel at the panoramic views of this expansive coastline and Rio’s countless bays. Afterwards, return to your hotel and enjoy the rest of your evening at leisure.

Day 8: Rio de Janeiro Samba Show

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast this morning before spending today at leisure enjoying the sights and sounds of this vibrant city. You’ll then be privately transferred to the Palace Steakhouse for your spectacular Rio by Night Samba Show. Enjoy a delicious BBQ dinner before enjoying traditional samba dancing from elaborately costumed performers. This evening is filled with lively carnival rhythms and rich Brazilian folklore – not to be missed!

Day 9: Rio de Janeiro

You have a full day at leisure in Rio today. After a relaxed breakfast, you may choose to enjoy a day on one of the many golden beaches, soaking up the sun. Alternatively, we have a range of fantastic pre-bookable day tours available, including a visit to the site of the famous, annual Rio Carnival, a traditional Brazilian cooking class with lunch included, or an immersive Brazilian Food tour, giving you the opportunity to sample a wide array of traditional food and drinks from local vendors and markets.

Day 10: Depart Rio de Janeiro

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel before catching your private transfer back to the airport for your flight back to the UK, armed with wonderful memories of your adventure.
